I thought I would share this since there are a lot of new people on the boards. I ordered frontline plus from dog.com on Thursday and recieved my order on Saturday morning.
Great prices, great service, and really fast shipping. So I wanted to thank them and to recommend our board sponsor to anyone who orders online.

Additionally, dog.com has all sorts of products, including some really COOL toys. I think that they price match too.

How much did they charge you for shipping?
i ordered two boxes of frontline from them and it started out as cheaper until they charged 7.95 for shipping and stuck it in this HUGE box with lots of stuffing (I guess to make up for the inflated shipping.... I'll never order that stuff from them again
Then I emailed Jaime to complain and never heard back... even more upsetting

I am very surprised that you never heard back from Jaime. I think sometimes mail goes into the trash or a different folder and she doesn't always see it. I'd email her again.

when I ordered my frontline from dog.com, they ended up sending me to boxes of it and charging me twice. I noticed this before it actually arrived at my house and called their 1800 number. They mentioned there was a problem with double orders going out from web orders and very nicely and promptly handled it by sending me a mailing label and directions for returning one of them (fedex came to my house to pick it up) and reimbursed my credit card. I found their customer service to be excellent. And, when I originally went to get it but they were out of the size for Zoe, Jaime told me which day it would be in, and I was able to order that day easily.

If you were charged the incorrect shipping, call the number and they will help.

Dog.com was the only place so far where I could find cooler mats. I had ordered the 2xl and it turned that the size was discontinued so they canceled the order, to prevent me being charged. So, I called back and ordered the next smaller size, xl, and that got to me in a few days, which is excellent considering that they are in Pennsylvania and I am in Texas.

Also, we need to remember that when we order something through the mail, in most cases we're paying postage based on the cost of the item rather than the weight of the product. It's possible buy something that doesn't weight much at all but if the price is high, the postage could be around $10 or more.

Do they accept paypal? I don't own a credit card, never actually want one until I am older, to many of my friends have ruined their lives with them.... paypal is "safe" that way lol..

I'm still waiting for my catolog its almost been three months since I put in that catolog request now that I think of it.

I've never had any bad experiences with dog.com. Customer Service is awesome. Shipping is fast. Well, actually, for me that not too surprising, I live in PA so the stuff doesn't have to travel too far. I'm REALLY surprised that Jaime didn't get back to you. The only thing I can think is that your mail got lost. She's not one to let something like that slide.

I ordered from dog.com - frontline plus for two dogs. I had no problem with service and as for the price, well, I had them overnight my order cuz I'm very impatient. Even with overnight shipping, the total cost was still lower than what I would have paid for Frontline locally.

i've always had good experiences with dog.com besides this order incident.

I just got your PM. I'm sorry I missed your original e-mail. I will check into this for you.
As far as the shipping goes, $7.95 is out base Fed-Ex pricing. We were running a special for Frontline where the shipping was $2.95 maybe your order got caught in the time line when it was changed over.
On light weight items, although it might take a day or two longer I always suggest to use "Priority Mail" which is about $4.00 so it helps save a little if your not in a rush to get something.

I will say that Outdoor has a point. I was about to order some puppy collars and the total was oh what under $8.00? I think the shipping was also $7.95. So I am simply waiting until I have more stuff I need to even out that shipping cost....because the collars really aren't worth that shipping lol. It's a better ship cost than say Petedge.com but they are a wholesaler and they want big bulk orders...their ship gets up around $15!

Businesses are businesses and they can only keep going if they have some sort of profit...so I am totally cool with that. When I bought books at my old job people had a hard time being offered a dollar or less for a hardback they spent $20+ for....but fact is, that book came in over 20xs a day and it's "value" was not that great to us...lol!

So I will be using my GC, just later on when I have other stuff to order...

Use the Priority mail shipping, the puppy collars can ship in an envelope
