    Being on a boat with all that fresh air, does tired them out.  We used to take April on our boat, after that she'd sleep for hours.

    Thanks everyone - he seems OK this morning. He ate breakfast and is playing with his pelican. I'm waffling back and forth over whether I want to get a CBC done...he seems normal.

     Awww poor little dude, glad he's feeling better today. Does he have much experience on boats? I wonder if maybe in addition to being tired he was struggling with his "land legs" and/or some slight residual sea sickness?

    so glad he's ok! I had this happen a few years back with Gobie the minpin terror. Although we had an above ground pool, and we were all in it. My dogs could climb the ladder and jump in (it was one of those where the ladder secures in an 'up' position so it can't be climbed). So Gobie would climb climb climb and then SPLASH and swim around and the get up on the ladder platform and ask you to throw his ball. I should've known better but he wound up with head exhaustion, the poor thing! Nothing a little rest and fluids didn't fix but it was darn scary. It's amazing how dogs will push themselves till they drop!

    I think he got a little dehydrated, too - we were out there for a long time and he's not a big water drinker.

    Lesson learned!

    Yeah, you know Willow gets really exhausted and can't handle long outings like she used too.  The immune dogs club!

    Pirate was like that too Lori, right when he went off the meds. It does get a little better but you're right, (and Callie and I were just talking about this!!) all those meds really age them.

    If we're starting a club, I vote Billy the EC SpanYELL for President :) I think Willow can be treasurer, she's got beauty and brains. Pirate wants to be secretary of cookies.

    Meg you have our best thoughts xs a hundred!! We think Mr Pirate,, wait should that be Captain Pirate?? ... is a total Mind Stud... a hunk who never had to procreate to establish a wonderful image and longing for a simular line!!

    I hate it when our fur kids feel crappy, it is awful on a million levels isnt' it??   My prayers are as much for your peace of mind as the boy's health .. a candle glows with every good thought we can send.

     Wow I didn't know anything was going on with Pirate.  I need to start exploring this board more outside the one thread..

    Glad to hear its ok.  Well you know I've had many of those false alarms too.  Glad to know I'm not the only one who does that.

    Pirate is the best!

    You know you have an immune-compromised dog WHEN...the dog practically curls his lip so you can obsessively poke his gums :)

    Billy thinks that would need to be "Mr. President PERFECT" if you please.  He will endeavor to do absolutely everything completely perfect and will sit nicely for all pictures.  Shur Willow can be Treasure -- cos she IS a Treasure ... and Pirate can be secatary of aLL the cookies (of course -- Pirate ALWAYS gets all the cookies ... Billy just wants Gerber Graduates, rockin raspberry and ... wheat frees - don't ANYBUDDY tell nobuddy that wheat-frees ARE cookies or we'll spiral the whole thing out of control, ok??
