Abbie woke up at 2am throwing up. She continued to throw up all morning long and when I got up for good in the morning, I found that she went to the bathroom in the living room too! Not a good morning. I wonder what is up with that girl.

My brothers dog is sick too. They got a diagnoses of  Hemorrhagic Gastro Entenitis (HGE). This sounds like a scape goat to me though. The dog has been in ICU for a few days and then back home on meds. She still isn't better and is hardly eating or drinking. Shakes often, etc. Anyone have experience with this?

Poor Abbie (and you). I hope she's okay and this is just a passing thing. I don't know anything about HGE, but it sounds serious. Is it kind of like a bleeding ulcer? I hope they can figure out a way to help her.

My boss is gone thru Thursday - yay!! It's also a gorgeous, sunny day - yay!!!

Ohhh, sorry, not my dog, she is a min pin.  My Chi hair straightener.  So sorry for the confusion...it never even occurred to me.  I found one online though to replace it for $70.

Izzy is a min pin. I

'll bet she's talking about her Chi straightening iron.

HAHAHA!!!!! I'm sorry, this whole thing about the "chi" dying is hilarious lol! I was sitting here, after seeing Jewlieee's post about it thinking "oh no!!" and then i saw what it was lol!

I am stuck and I don't know what to do.  There are two potential places for me to have my wedding and I just don't know which.  the first is www.nottawasagaresort.com the pros to this one is that it is also a hotel so guests don't have to worry about driving home late at night (none of our guests live close to either of the places) but, the cost would be about $7000 which is okay.

The second place is http://www.gleneagle.ca/ the cost there I have calculated to be about $5200, but there is no where for guests to stay overnight, and not even in town, because good old bolton has only i think one motel and it's crappy looking.  I haven't seen that golf club yet, Derek and I are going to see it on Thursday.

I don't know what to do yet.

I would definitely go for the hotel.  I have found that it creates more of a relaxed, ready to party a bit atmosphere if people don't have to travel if they don't want to.  Just my opinion, mind you.

I say go with the first one, the hotel.  It looks fabulous and you don't have to worry about your guests finding somewhere to stay.

I'm with everyone else.  The hotel looks great, & I think that it would make things easier on your guests.

Guess who had margaritas for lunch? Drinks

Not me, unfortunately. :(      I didn't even leave the stinkin' office, just ate my stupid old ham sandwich right here at my stupid old desk.  "Slaps self around and tries to cheer up."  That margarita statement just really made me feel miserable and sorry for my self.  LOL

OMG i totally thought you were talking about your dog too!!

    gah!

very tired this morning. did a carp load of yard work this weekend, mowed everthing & weed eated everything! its quite the chore. I was starting to feel bad for akyra when she could find her tennis balls in the grass! LOL

my BF & I flew kites yesterday. lol. it was fun. he got this big pirate ship one, that actually looks like a ship. I got to fly my ten dollar harbor freight kite hehe. it was alot of fun, even though the wind was inconsistent. simple joys. Been taking the dogs swimming in the ponds out in the field. They love it, and i love that we pretty much have our own 9 acre private dog park! LOL i'm going to cry when they build stuff out there. I always have dreams of waking up to the sound of diesel engines & 'beep beep beep' & looking out the window to see big earth movers plowing over my little sanctuary.:(

I got the best perfume, I'm a big fan of one store on etsy cuz all their products are vegan & petroleum free.  I got a roll-on perfume that smells amazing!! its the same scent - pomagranate - as my body butter I got from them. Got some more lip balm too, which i love because my lips actually like it, store bought stuff makes them peel for some reason. I was so upset that my original tube made it into the dryer! Crying

I'm officially a swiffer person. but not like an ordinary one. I read about how to open the bottle ( on the wetjet) so I can refill it with my own concoction of baking soda & vinegar, I also sewed up some covers for it out of polarfleece because i can't stand to think about how many swiffer pads are at the landfill.  And at my house, you'd have to max out your credit card to keep yourself in fresh swiffer pads!  So far I love it, i dont really care for the smell of the solution, but it'll be gone soon. :)

Oh please share. I hate having to run out and buy the bottles of the stuff and it's not cheap. I'd much prefer to put my own stuff in there. I actually took an old steak knife and cut a whole in the top of one bottle and then used a funnel to fill it up. I just had to be careful not to let it fall over Geeked

I think I saw that advertised in one of the Sunday paper flyers yesterday and it looked really cool. I wondered if it would fly that good though.

Why is there a foot of snow on the ground?!?!?! WHY! At least the weather was nice yesterday for the Hoof and Woof.. I got to run a 9year old Aussie and we placed 3rd outta 10. Not bad considering we've never worked together.

Today I have a headache and need to do the dishes. It's also bath day for Sandy. I'm thinking of adding to her embarassment and take some pictures.

It is SO nice out today. which is good - I spent all day driving around looking for Molly and running from store to store finishing up all my stuff.

It's my spring break right now - I'd love to go to the beach tomorrow Paradise

the rest of my day has been quiet, uneventful, and very relaxing. I love Mondays!
