Generally NOT a salad kinda guy -- maybe caesar.  If it's been a 'bad day' then honey-mustard (running joke if he orders honey mustard he'll grin and say "It's been a honey mustard kinda day";)

Rhubarb pie or beet root.

Depends -- if I can drive he might have beer (dark if he wants it room temperature, lager if he wants something cold).  Depending on his mood it could be coffee with lots of cream, coke, *maybe* iced tea on a very hot day OR sparkling water).

Newport - I think they lived in Newport-On-Tay when he was in high school.

Oh Heavens -- You can NOT get the man in shorts.  He would tell you he spent too many years in Britian trying to be grown up enough to wear long pants ... he just can *NOT* adapt to the American "wear shorts everywhere" thing.

Not into sports AT ALL.  (I looked the world over for a man who didn't like sports as much as *I* dislike them -- and found that man in Davey!! LOL)

He's British - he didn't vote but supported Obama

Not for his birthday specifically but I did bake my Christmas Cake the weekend of his birthday and he LOVES it (and it IS a white sweet fruitcake)

He is the gentlest man with animals I've ever seen - he can SO often get a frightened animal to trust him it's unreal.  I have seen him call all species -- he has the most awesome calm and caring presence.

Hmm...when we had cable he liked Dexter and Nip/Tuck. Since we don't now, he mostly watches DVD's - he likes war movies.
