"German Shepherds Turn On Their Owners. . ."

Well, it's about time you started posting pics again of your beautiful GSDs.[;)]

    Er, I mean, killer dogs.

No one deserves to get bit for the clothing they are wearing even if the dogs owner thinks they are not a nice person

I honestly don't think the dog keyed off on the clothing. I think he keyed off on the smell and the body language of the oddly dressed maniac. It was one bite and it warded the guy off. If I had been there, I would probably have done more damage than the bite, though I may have less self control than that GSD.[:)]

    So, he's health-concscious, preferring lean meat, eh?[:D]

Guess so.....he hasn't eaten DS yet, and that boy is skin and bones too......luckily I think maybe DH and I are safe from Tyler at least.

Yeah, I know, I really need to get some new pictures taken, uploaded, resized and posted......24 hours aren't enough in a day tho.

Breeds like golden retrievers were over breed, carelessly breed, etc and it caused problems later with hip problems, allergies, etc.  Possibily even the high rate of cancer in goldens.  Sixty percent of goldens will die of cancer.

Actually, their popularity keeps them on the "bite list", too.

Funny, my BF's dad has a GSD.  Now, he's an ornery ole coot (dad, not dog - and he'd laugh to hear me say that).  Dog hasn't turned on him yet.  Come to think of it, the dog is getting up there now - maybe 10-11 years old now.  If he's going to turn, he'd better hurry up. [;)]

Yup. But you don't see anyone banning them. The town near me passed a pit bull ban even though nobody had even reported any injuries from the dozen or so pits in town! A year and a half later a golden retriever nearly tore off an eight-year-old girls entire face - and they never even considered a Golden ban!?

I had a German sheperd named Sain he was a sweetheart if he didnt like someone or thought they were going to hurt me he would put himself in danger. like on day my Boy friend came over and that was the first time Sain had ever met him, and all Sain did was walk in the middle of us and if my boy friend tried to touch me sain would look at him like do it and you'll be sorry, but he would NEVER bite anyone! I love germi shepies!!

Now, there's a handsome fellow, I mean, ferocious killer.

Please note that this was at the MS Walk and we were surrounded by hundreds of people....he's gazing off into the distance, so no doubt trying to decide which one of the hundreds of folks would make the best snack.  [sm=devil.gif][sm=devil.gif][sm=devil.gif]

Hmmmmm, since he waits my permission to "make a new friend" I wonder how it'll work when he decides to turn into a monster?  Wait for the "it's ok, go say hi" and then say hi and BYE in the same breath?

Oooh, I just wanted to report in, I made it through another night without being eaten by one of my German Shepherds[:D], question though, will it be one at a time, or are they going wait for a signal and all will turn, and maybe even turn the Huskies, too?[:D]

This thread has got me scaaaarrred, when will it be my turn?????

We had a GSD mix for the first 14 years of my life.  Funny, I still have all of my body parts at 21.
    • Gold Top Dog
Snownose...LOL...My whole family burst out laughing at your post....Hey we are still all here too...still got all our fingers and toes..

and maybe even turn the Huskies, too?

I don't know. Huskies can be independent. They may have to make up their own minds, which could be good or bad.[;)]
