Mindless chatter Thursday

Last night when I got home Monroe took off.  They usually come out, pee, wrestle in the driveway for a minute or two and then we go in, I change and we go to the park.  I put Morrison back in the house and crunched through the snow and ice in my heels looking for him (we don't have a fence).  When I went in to change shoes I opened the door and he was standing there...sigh.  Back on a leash for him!

This morning I figured out what he was doing while he was gone.  I've never seen poop that looked like a can of corn poured out before.  Guess he is missing the grain in his new grain free diet!  He'll adjust.

Still - that is all much better than Glenda's start to the day.  Ish.

I'm planning to see the green comet on sunday and monday.

I'm planning my spring garden, Thor and I really need some flowers around!

I'm planning to spend the day working hard also.

Ugh Glenda - I felt sick just imagining what your morning was like. It's gotta get better from here though.

Some days I really have to repeat "I'm lucky to have this job" over and over and today is one of those days. Fortunately, I'm off tomorrow.

We get our new leather couch and recliner delivered tomorrow - yay!! I hope DH can find someone to come pick up the old stuff today or tomorrow or it's going to feel a little crowded.

Sassy slept with us all thru the night. She rarely does that and it's so nice to wake up in the morning and cuddle with her.

I just called Bfs work and was told he was in the office with the store manager, but that they got a raise! yaaay!

  I am so sick and tired of her telling me we are doing something wrong because she isn't talking much yet. 

Wasn't it Einstein or one of those brainy dudes that didn't say a bloomin' word until he was about four and then started talking in paragraphs? Tell MIL not to spend too much time trying to get Riley to talk because once she starts,  MIL will spend the next 15 years telling her to sit down and  be quiet.  I had my  taxes done yesterday. Do you have to be rich to have your money in an offshore account?  I'm thinking I'd really like to do that and then just sort of drop of the radar.

mrstjhonson: MIL's - I sympathize. I always thought I was lucky and had an awesome MIL but the last couple years she sure has been proving me wrong! I'm incredibly frustrated now.  She has turned into a completely different person in the last couple years - she is struggling with depression and man is it hard to deal with.

I am over this snow that seems to be happening outside my window. ugh. I can't wait for spring. I'm jealous of all you guys who live in warm climates!

I am missing living near my best friend. He lives three hours away from me. I love living in the county most of the time, but I miss my friends in the city. Man is it hard to make friends when you are not in high school or college!

 I've decided this year that I'm going to sew my own swimsuit. I hate paying around $40 per PIECE on swimsuits, if not more! gah.  So i'm shopping for swimsuit fabric :)  I got invited to a craft faire in my town through etsy, apparently they used the 'local' tool to find me. I'm excited. I washed a bunch of bags last night. I added baking soda to the soapy water to help take any 'kibble' smell out of the bags.  That smell is kinda hard to get out. Thankfully the goat bags dont really have a smell.

Been playing fetch with Akyra every morning with the chuck-it tennis ball thing. It's great. She loves it. Got another toy the other day that looked like a duck & looked VERY VERY durable. NOPE. its in pieces all over the floor. it lasted two day.crazy dogs.

I finally sewed some little outdoor blankets for the dog house, I just quartered old blankets & sewed them together. Not very 'fluffy' but better than hard plastic dogloo bottom. I'm kinda hoping that since they're not 'stuffed' Bella will be less likely to eat them!! Its going to make washing them easy too, since they can all go in at once.

i wish I was done work already but my boss *just* got in lol so now things will get hectic!

Went to storage and to get my mail and for the most part it wasn't so bad, but coming home, man, white out conditions for several miles.  Not fun.

I'm dug in at home 'til the snow quites falling and blowing now.

Many years ago my friend and I decided we were going to make our bathing suits. We bought the patterns and fabric and never got any further than that. I don't know what we were thinking since neither of us knows how to sew.

I'm bored and my mind keeps wandering to how I can spend money online. I should probably find something to distract myself

 In 8 minutes I'm going to a meeting on how to protect myself if there's a gunman on campus.

MrsTJohnson:  I believe it was the guy who wrote the first dictionary that waited until he was 5 yrs old to say anything.  He was sitting at the hearth when his brother walked into the house, he looked up and said "How art thou Jock?".     Sorry about your MIL.

the faire is supposed to be on March 21st & 22nd at the high hand nursery in Loomis.

I'm bad at spending money online, i actually hate shopping at stores so it's my excuse to shop online. LOL.

I have become horrible at spending money on online...it is so hard when all that cute baby stuff is calling my name.  With the cost of daycare at close to $600 a month though I have no business shopping for anything!  And this place was a great deal and even provides diapers and wipes which are another large cost in themselves! 

I have been feeling crafty lately so I got my sewing machine out the other night and made my diaper burp cloths into cute cloths with hearts and flowers and stuff.

When the computer guy was here yesterday he realized I had another monitor port so he tried it out and now I have 4 monitors.  I am enjoying it so much today.  The return I am working on is horribly involved and requires multiple spreadsheets and programs so now I can spread out all over my desktop!  I LOVE it!
