Thanx everyone!!!! I *think* it went very well.... I met with one of the founders of the company and he said there were three candidates and I was one of them. They are going to make a decision by the beginning of next week and want that person to start immediately. So, for now I am continuing to send out resumes, just in case, although my gut says I got it..... And I need to pack for the move. I think I'm still a little in denial about the move, but I do feel happier knowing that I have somewhere to go and that my daughter actually seems excited about me staying with them and perhaps her ability to help me out for a change. If I get this job, I will only be there long enough to get things together for a place of my own!!!! Yippee!!!!!! And if I get the job and have to go to Miami for a week, the dogs will be there and well taken care of...... :)

I will let you all know when I hear, in the meantime, *please* keep us in your thoughts and prayers and send positive vibes for the job!!!! I know it's helping!!!!

Um, Lynn, I may be way off here but I have this feeling htat you don't have to ask for us to keep you in our thoughts. That being said....You are so in my thoughts. I'm just glad that your daughter finally grew up a bit & is taking you in.

Well, the first person I interviewed with, who would be my boss, said he would be making a decision by tomorrow and the owner told me the beginning of next week....so, I'm hoping to *maybe* hear something tomorrow (say it with me... "yes, yes, yes, yes, yes";)..... if not, I have a lot to keep me occupied, like say, packing...... AARRGGHH!! I am the biggest procrastinater on earth and I don't have the luxury of being one right now!! Courtney will be in town tomorrow and is stopping by to pick up some boxes on her way back to Tampa, so I need to work on that tomorrow........ but, I am sleeping in...... I am exhausted....... and it's great "snuggle with the dogs" weather!!!!

I did not get the job in Tampa. :( But he reminded me that I was one of the three top candidates....... TYVM....

But, I have a follow up interview tomorrow from a position I interviewed for over a month ago, right here in Sarasota! The first interview was almost 3 hours - we got along great. She wants to hire me, tomorrow is just a formality and then I would need to meet with someone from the home office. It is at an apartment complex only a few minutes away from my house and I could have a discounted apartment!!!!!! She really wants to hire me...

Please keep sending good vibes.... maybe this is what's supposed to happen!! I really want to stay in Sarasota!!! :)

I truly believe, that with you upbeat spirit, you are going to get the perfect job for you. This first interview not working out is going to benefit you in the end....I just know it.

Good luck!! The Tampa job wasn't meant to be so no use worrying about it. Things will go your way, I just feel it.

I feel it too, my gut just says this is what's supposed to happen. Staying in Sarasota, not moving to Tampa to live w/my daughter..... this is where my life, friends, dr, GROOMER are!!! And the new church that I just started going to a couple of weeks ago is here. I am loving it and the people I'm meeting. It's non-denominational, have a band that plays rock-type religious music, is casual and they make you feel so welcome - not preachy, not pushy. I've always been spiritual, but grew up catholic with religion rammed down my throat - I grew to resent it. And I always felt that if God really existed, why did so many bad things happen.... why did friends and family have to die...... I'm learning and growing and it feels great!!! Anyway.... I just wanted to share that.

I'm so excited for tomorrow!!!! :)

I'm excited for you. I think we will all celebrate with you when things work out well for you. This opportunity in Sarasota sounds like it is everything you want and need right now. I hope your patience has paid off for you and you get rewarded for it tomorrow.

Regarding the spirituality part, I just finished a really amazing book called "The Shack" and I'm not sure I've ever read anything that gave me so much food for thought and such a wonderful feeling. It's been on the NY Times paperback bestseller list for a long time and you can find it just about anywhere. I highly recommend it.

The meeting today went great! It lasted 1.5 hours and then we went and looked at possible apartments for me..... I am meeting with the Regional Director next Tuesday. Laury really wants me and didn't hesitate to tell me. Please keep sending good vibes guys....... this is the position for me, I can feel it!!!! :)
