    Shame Shame Shame

See this video for a shameful excuse for a breeder...

Honestly, I wouldn't trust *anyone* breeding puppies in New York City! Who has the room in their apartment for a breeding operation????

And shame on the people, too, for not doing their homework!

WOW. Honestly, if i went to her house or even LOOKED at her...i would RUN in the other direction...fast.

    This is so sad.

Seriously. You can say that again.

Wholey carp that woman is skeery to me.  Those poor dogs that were born in her home..

OT:  It's great to see that Arnold Diaz is still around.  I have memories of him when I was in HS in Jersey.

    Ick.

(That said? The lady who wrote "The Joy of Breeding Your Own Showdog" lived in NYC and bred Yorkies for many years- in Manhattan, IIRC. And I know a IG breeder who lives there now- it CAN be done responsibly, but man, it must be a ton of work.)

    • Gold Top Dog

That is so horrible! She is only in it for the money, and is a horrible lier! Gaa!

She does look skeeeeryyy.....I wouldn't buy a pup from someone like her - ever.

I've seen gangsters take better care of they're dogs then that - no, they were not fighting dogs either.

    • Gold Top Dog

Yuck. She looks so..... tacky. From the black roots to the way she's sitting, what a class act. I love how she took absolutely no responsibility for the puppies being sick. It was always the owner's fault. Riiiiight.

And just as increduluous, she acts like she knows more about infectious diseases than a vet. To date, evidently, she hasn't produced the paperwork she said she had, such as health certs, etc. because they don't exist. Which kind of make sense since she couldn't tell that one of the pups was a hermaphrodite.

    • Gold Top Dog

     I have no words.  Ick!

    • Gold Top Dog

I feel sick after watching that woman.  Never buy a dog from a breeder you know nothing about other than their ads.

I feel terrible for the people who bought puppies from her but they must bear some responsibility if they did not do the bare minimum of research before they purchased.  Personally, I wouldn't want to spend more than 30 seconds in the company of this sleazeball.

    • Gold Top Dog

    That woman is disgusting.

Oh yes - all those bad bad doggie Mom's paying $3,000 for a pup, who they don't want to care for/drop on its head/dont get its shots. Riiiight. I wish you could ban stupid people from owning/breeding animals....I've got a list of people who don't need to be with animals!

    • Gold Top Dog

Don't get me wrong, the woman is totally ripping off these people BUT.........just because they paid a lot of money for a puppy doesn't relieve them of the responsibility to do their homework before they buy!

    • Gold Top Dog

heck, homework or no homework, i would never dream of buying ANYTHING for that kinda money from a woman who presented herself like that (and i am talking make-up, clothes AND most of all her body language!) that's just plain foolish!! what were they thinking?

but yeah, shame shame shame indeed...

...just because they paid a lot of money for a puppy doesn't relieve them of the responsibility to do their homework before they buy!

Thay may have done they're homework on the breed - just not the breeder. Or, talk to the women on the phone, send a depositm, and then go see the home. You never know the entire situation in these settings.

I do think you should visit the breeder before buyig, but sometimes it just doesn't happen.
