Can't wait till tomorrow I plan to go deep into the woods with my sister and Shailer. Today has been the most boring day ever, my cousin's baby won't stop crying and I am bored, no fosters to take care of......

It is crazy today at work. Too bad i work saturday and sunday, too.

My sister was in a bad car wreck today, but is home safe now. She is having a lot of neck pain.

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Eeeeep Megan, I hope your sister is OK!

Sigh, I got paid today and it's all gone. Why I even get excited about paydays anymore, I'm not sure.

So, I think I'm going to start looking for another job.  I just hit the end of my rope with this company, and I can't take it anymore.  Company policy is driving me nuts, and it seems like the customers are just getting more and more demanding and unappreciative.  And the worst part is that I actually work REALLY HARD for the customers when I'm on the floor, there's not much you can't ask me that I won't do.  And it is just never good enough, anymore.  I feel like this job is making me...dislike people, and I do NOT want that.  I think our clientele has changed in the last two years, and I'm just not a strong enough personality to take the criticism.

    Argh.  Rant over.

On the plus side, I'm taking the doggies for a long walk now, and then to Petsmart to buy a new clicker and practice rally with Honor in preparation for tomorrow!!!

This has been the longest day of the longest week. It's really sad when you finally finish up and can go home and you don't have any energy to do anything. I'm trying not to complain as much about working. There are so many people who would love to find a job but can't and I want to slap myself when I start whining.

On a bright note, we get Monday off for Veteran's Day. The holiday isn't until Tuesday but it's even nicer to have a 3 day weekend - yay!!

they have the front page of their catalogue picutured there and there is a beautiful GSP on the cove

Oh I never went to that page before - very cool!  I have used them since they were tiny probably 15 yrs or so.  Love the place.

BTW I have been workign DH for about a year to add a dog - been trying to find the magic ticket and lately I feel I may be making some progress by sending him info on GSP's in need of a home.............  unlikely to get him to agree but this feels closer than other attempts Big Smile

Just do what I did.. Lol. Bring the dog home and ask him to watch/hold it for a moment..  I did that to Alex cuz I had to get the crate out of the car and Sandy has been glued to his side ever since.

ETA: PICTURES ARE UP!! Lol.. Enjoy.

I have had quite the day.  I work Friday afternoons, so I spend Friday mornings running errands. I also sleep in since I don't have to be to work until 2:15!

DS#1 woke me from a dead sleep at 8 a.m., requesting I bring him a DVD to school for some class thing.  Oh yeah, he needed it by 9:07!  I made it there by 8:45 .

I decided to go wash my car and get gas while I was out.  The car wash malfunctioned and my car was DIRTIER than before i took it through the wash!  They rewashed it at no charge.  They KNOW how picky I am, but that I am loyal too.  I actually wash my car by HAND in the summer!

Then I stopped by the Dodge dealership to get prices on Bentley grills. My friend, Mark,  came out front and told me, "They have gotten REAL proud of those things!" .  I asked him how much and he told my the one I was interested in had gone up to--GASP--$920.00Surprise.  Guess who IS NOT getting a Bentley grill?

So, I ran to the grocery store to get a cheap Honeysuckle White turkey (.69/lb!) and some free or nearly free cat food, tampons, tea and corn starch (I do SO have a life!).  Then I came home, ate lunch and watched my hero, Perry Mason, solve another case.  Then, off to work.

Work was a total ZOO.  Whoever thinks libraries are nice, quiet places to work should come hang out with me for a week! WE are VERY popular during the normal economic times, but now, we are the most beloved (and used!) institution in the land! I have seen dozens of new faces in the past couple months and I have worked there nine years (as of December 3rd) and know about half of the town. Then, the **&%^% elevator acted up at closing time and trapped a poor teenage boy in it.  We finally got him out and were out the door by 5:15.

I had a hot date tonight! DH and DS#2 went camping, but DS#1 couldn't go because he had to work, so he and I went for burgers.  I had a coupon and we both ate cheaply,  I managed to spill my entire pop INTO my plate and they had to make me a new burger.  I tipped the waitress who helped me clean it up because it wasn't her table and out waitress was busy with somebody else at the time. any way, DS#1 and I had a nice long talk about his future.  This is the first time he's really opened up to me about what he'd like to do and where he'd like to go with his life. We are a LOT alike, so we often butt heads.  This was a very nice evening and we both had a good time.

We then came home and played Scrabble.  We both like it but don't have a lot of time to play, so we had a good game.  I beat him by TWO points--278 to 276.

The fun news is: I am off until Thursday! I had to use up some vacation time (use it or lose it), so I combined with with Veteran's Day to get five whole days off.
