    They're calling for WHAT!!!????

SNOW! *excuse me while I go throw a tantrum like a 3 year old* The blasted weather man is calling for snow tomorrow!  Thursday: morning clouds and a few snow showers then clearing. Afternoon high temperatures between 38°-45°. Winds will become northwest 10-15 MPH. It's only about 40 degrees right and super windy right now. Last night we had rain and severe winds.

I was hoping not to spend the first day of hunting season trudging through wet snow. Crying

Aww... I might be willing to take your snow over here.  I sort of miss snow.

My coworker just complained yesterday that we're getting 95 degree weather.

Shrug...it just seems like it is sooner than ever.

Chicago and Southern Wisconsin had snow fall the other day, my girlfriend in Canada was expecting 10-15 inches last night.

    Sorry!

I'll take some of your snow too.   90 and sunny everyday is so frickin boring!  I would love to live somewhere with actual weather!

    • Gold Top Dog

The Poconos in PA had 8-12 inches of snow the other day.

I'll take your snow!!! Here in NC everything gets shut down if we even get 1/2"! It's crazy. I've never experienced actual snow, I was born in WV(biggg snow! woo!) but we when I was 2, so I don't remember it, and I  probably never played in the snow(sad, sad panda). It's about 55 here now, and it was 30 this AM.

I will gladly take the 95 degree weather. I am so living in the wrong state. I hate winter. Now I have a pup that doesnt understand cold weather is for staying inside!! Why must I like active dogs??

Except up in the mountains! Wink  We were in the Black Mountain/Asheville area from Saturday through yesterday.  Woke up yesterday to a beautiful (and somewhat unexpected) inch or two of snow.  None of the locals even seemed to notice . . . .

Ahh! Lucky! Here in Fayetteville it's a pure chaos if they say there is a slight chance of any snow/ice.....people clean out the WalMarts and other stores.....I just laugh and try not to need anything for a few days.....Smile

Eh, I was hoping to have another month before having to buy my snow tires. This is my first year with them and hopefully they'll save me from doing 360's in the road like last year. NOT fun. BF has a truck with 4-wheel drive this year though, so we'll be alright. Atleast I know how to drive in the snow! But it's not even Halloween yet! The snow can wait until atleast November!

I do love snow though. We love to snowmobile and Lily loves to go icefishing! I think I posted some pics of her last year with her first ever fish?! Lily also does well on the snowmobile! I am looking forward to snow and I always have to have a white Christmas! Snow during hunting season is actually helpful so you can follow the blood trail easier.

Humph.....Mother Nature needs to take the next 2 or 3 days off from snow making!

I'll take 95 degree weather up here! I'm just not ready for snow. I can't believe how fast it got so cold! But I also couldn't imagine a winter without it!

NC closes down for a MEASLEY 1/2"?? WIMPS Stick out tongue   Last year we broke all sorts of records for snow fall - there was so much accumalated snow a big problem became where to put the plowed snow!  Snow banks were up over my SO head (he's 6'1).

I don't mind snow - but last season was pushing it.  Least I finally got to try out skiing!

Forgot to add the SO is a bonofide ski addict.  He's been watching the weather the last few days obsessively and is taking tomorrow off to go skiing.  I become a "ski widow" this time of year :)

We got a dusting last night and a little this AM. Now it's rain. Boo!

I used to become a hunting widow this time of year, but this year I'm going to be attached to his hip! I'm going to get a deer this year I swear! Plus it would really help us out grocery wise.

I just heard the other day that Sunday River has started to make snow already! I'm not sure if you're in northern NH, if so you'd be close! I used to go skiing all the time when I was younger, but now I am older and more cautious (BF calls it afraid). I'm terrified that I'll get going to fast and can't stop and then will fall! I went skiing at Sugarloaf for the first time a couple of years ago and I did alright, except for my pole getting caught on the chair once I got to the top of the lift. The chair started it's turn back down the slope and I got free and jumped. The guy I was with said he had never seen anything like that before! Way to make a lasting impression on a date eh? Lol

Maine dosn't shut down for hardly ANYTHING, let alone a couple of inches of snow! It would have to be really bad for schools to cancel and forget about any work places shutting down for the snow! Sheesh, send the NC's up here any time and we'll show you all a good winter! Big Smile
