Grady & I had a GREAT day today. We started off by going to the bark park. It was early afternoon so I knew there wouldn't be a lot of dogs, if any, there. It was just the way I like it. Just one other dog there @ a time. The first was a 9 week old *gulp* Pibble. WAY too young to be out @ a bark park AND it was unvaccinated. I won't go into how I felt about that but, lordy, she was adoraBullie! I managed to snap a few shots before Grady kinda got a bit too much for her & she & her mama left. Then came in a gorgeous GSD who is the same age as G & a very good teacher for him. He & Grady played for a while until the hail got too much & we all left. Yup, I said hail. Sorry no pictures of Rinny due to weather. I take back any negative thing I have said in the past about Grady's intelligence. ~L~ Rinny's owner & I were sharing a very small umbrella & Grady worked his way right in between us. He was essentially in the driest part of the umbrella. Smart boyyyy!
All this was to tire him out a bit before going for his first blood donation appointment. I am so proud of my boy! He did so well. When he got shaved on his donation spot I told him he'd get some ice cream. After they had to shave another spot I upped his reward to a large ice cream. Well he ended up getting a small steak because he was soooooo good. I'm so stinking proud of my boy I just had to share.
