Cat Decision - need help (New update - pg 4)

I talked to two vets I respect and they have really put my mind at rest - I'm leaning toward the happy side of the fence right now.  One more call to a respected person (my mom) to go over the options one last time and I think I'm going to call work and give them the go ahead to process him for placement with me...paws crossed nothing else comes up....

I guess the way I'm looking @ this is you're thinking of adopting a "special needs" kitty.  He can live for years being FIV+,  be happy & fairly healthy.  Go adopt that cutie patootie & love the heck outta him while he's alive.

So he's here on a trial basis for the next 6 days.  Assuming all goes well, he'll stay for as long as we can care for him.

Currently he's exploring the pen and meowing.  The girls find him super interesting so they are not allowed in my office right now - Maggie was guarding him from Z. :P

He is sneezing some so we'll keep an eye on it.  If he gets another URI as bad as the first I might be back at square one decision-wise...

Good luck with him!  I hope he can stay and have a wonderful life with you.  Fingers and toes crossed.

I wrote before, but my post didn't come out.

Anyway, I'm glad you bring him home and I really hope he will be the best cat for you and your family. Maybe urine health cat food will help him? My two eat that every day.

    Good luck!

    BTW What is the name?
