Mindless Chatter - Tues

Have I said I love working from home? I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays if we do not have any meetings I must attend. My dogs are all around me. Today is "slower" only because it is the end of the month. I have plenty to do and probably should not be on the board.  However a girl needs her mental breaks right? 

My neck is KILLING me, I must have slept on it wrong. I should find our heating pad and put it on. 

Teddi and Belle were great at agility last night. Man when Teddi starts to really get this she is going to be FAST!!!! Belle was really showing speed last night too.

Good Morning Everyone! 

Last night was fun.  My friend came over and we decided that we didn't want to clean (she's been helping me out since STBX got his stuff out last week and my place is a disaster area).  So we hooked up the Super Nintendo and played Mario World.  LOL.  For almost 4 hours.

My mom's b-day is on Thursday, and one of her life-long friends is coming from Houston to celebrate. They were supposed to go to her friend's condo in Galveston, but that didn't exactly work out. My mom said all she wants to do this weekend is lay on the beach and drink bloody mary's. So is it wrong that I'm buying her vodka for her b-day? I think not.

I hope not, since I bough Wally's cousin beer for Christmas a few years ago.  There is a song that says "All we need is Love and Beer, Old School Metal and Holiday Cheer to be happy" so I bought something to represent each of those things, including a bottle of beer.  And since he doesn't really care for beer I also bought him a bottle of Captain Morgan.......

1.  I can't catch a break on getting Ari dog training

2.  I'm about ready to up and quit my job - if it weren't for the fact I absolutely need to be employed.

3.  I just ate waaaaay to much chinese for lunch and need nap now please :) 

It's a beautiful day here and it's supposed to be down to a high of mid-70s by the weekend. I love Fall!!

I hurt my back working out a couple weeks ago and reinjured it yesterday and was in pretty bad pain last night. I really wanted to just stay home today but have to be here for a large UPS pick-up this afternoon. As soon as they pick up these boxes, I'm outta here.

So we hooked up the Super Nintendo and played Mario World.  LOL.  For almost 4 hours.

DUDE! I'm not the only geek! Lol. I've been play the Super Nintendo for two weeks since I got sick.  Alex and I were playing Super Mario 3 and then I switched to Zelda: Link to the past. And I can't get my fill!!

Although we did break out the Nintendo the other day and was playing the original Mario. And I still suck at it.

Well today I'm staying home and making lasagna now that I'm feeling up to it. So tonight dinner consists of lasagna and cheesecake (thanks to our neighbor =) ) 

Yesterday I went out job hunting and aggravated my cold  so home today.  I just have to call the trainer at the agility field and set up a time on Saturday that I can come watch the classes and speak to the trainers.

I'm kinda bummed, most of my games are missing.  We were only able to find Mario World and 1 game for the 64.  My Zelda and Donkey Kong are gone!  So I think my friend and I are going game shopping soon.  And I suck at *ALL* games.  Seriously.  I've beat 3 games in my entire life.  Zelda (not sure which one, but it was on the 64), Onimusha (PS2), and Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (PS2)

So yea, deffinitely not the only geek. 

 All our games got given to us. Lol. And we find alot of our games on Ebay when we want something specific.  Example: Alex just bought Doom 64 for 10$ on Ebay.

And I've only beaten two games in my entire life. Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Gamecube and Naruto: Path of the Ninja for the DS.  *sigh* Then there's Alex.. Who pretty much beats every game he picks up.

I'm in a pretty good mood today. 

• A friend took my phone shift so he could sit at the computer and study at the same time (afternoons are slow). I'm fiddling with three laptops on my desk.
  
• My uncle (who is an eye Dr) gave me some new contacts yesterday and they feel great, as in, I don't feel them at all.  Acuvue Oasis.  My old ones always got dry and itchy, especially in the winter.
  
• I also picked out cute new glasses.  My eyes got worse again, but whatever. I figured the lenses are the expensive part.  Since I pay my uncle cost, if I need new lenses I might as well pick new frames.
  
• I tried to buy RAM for my laptop, but it's already maxed out, so that automatically saves me $70. 
• My photo book arrived and has a mistake, which means I'll get another one for free! 
• Our agility season finished last week, b/c now it's cold and gets dark way too early.  I'm secretly glad to have the evening to myself.  I did sign up for puppy class and more obedience for Coke starting Nov. 15. 

 I'm tired, it's only 8:30 so a bit too early for bed.  I need to look for a dress tomorrow, and run some errands.  Thursday the plastering in the bedroom is going to be finished and the ceiling replaced, Friday we have an appointment and then need to pick up paint so I can do that while DH is out on Friday night.  Busy week, I am ready for it to be over. 

 I just got off the phone with the trainer and WOW! I had no idea that the agility club wasn't just an agility club.. The only thing this club doesn't offer is Schutzhund! Seriously!! Lol.  I mean wow! I'm speechless. Which is new for me when it comes to trainers on the coast.

On Saturday she's picking me up in the morning and I'm spending the day at the club. ALSO! I may have a job with the club!! They're looking for an office person and I'm looking for work. Lol. I told them that I have no formal training but that's alright. I'll find out later in the week about that. 

AND! The trainer has offered to help me do a visit to My breeder so I can check out the kennels. Turns out the trainer is a major GSD fan and wants to make sure I get the best I can.

OH! One more thing! We got talking about Maze's problem with larger dogs and she said (if I wanted to) I could bring Maze and do some private lessons with her to work on her problems. 

The prices for the classes are alot more reasonable then I thought so it's not going to break my account to pay for them.  And after you complete a group class session, they drop the price by 20$. 

I just can't believe it. I found a trainer and may have a job doing something I'll enjoy! 

Don't mind me.. I'm gonna drift off in glee.. I haven't been this excited in awhile.

 That's awesome Oranges!  I would be interested to hear if the trainer does not recommend Tracy Bullinger.
