    Saturday mornin...

Miss Momma is, happy as a clam this morning, and still big as a house. She was bred over a looooong time frame so her last possible due date is WEDNESDAY. LOL. Her breeder is thinking the temp drop we had a couple days ago, was not THE temp drop obviously. Nesting tho...having good fun ripping up those papers!

I did find something out about miss Momma tho. Miss Momma does NOT like to come in when outside running in the yard. I haven't had a traditional Beagle here I guess...mine all come when called HAHA! Spent about oh 30mins last night trying to lure her close enough to catch, some smoked turkey lunchmeat finally did the trick.

So needless to say she is going outside with long line attached now HAHA!

Sheesh!  When I was a day away from popping, you wouldn't have caught me dead running around in the yard!  And I only had 1!!!! Not 6.

I'm sooo jealous.  Are you gonna post pics here or somewhere else?

Sniff, tear....I miss my beagle Crying

Dusty is like Ellie....4 yrs old, but gets mistaken for a puppy constantly.  And makes a beeline for the door as soon as it opens to come inside.

I can't wait to see pics!!!!  I do agree, beagle puppies are probably the cutest puppies ever....and it's a darn good thing for their sake too!

her legs are STILL crossed people...she is going to drag this out as long as possible apparently. teehee. She's lots more comfortable here now tho if the IMMENSE snores coming from her room are any indication LMBO.

OK, it's Wednesday.  Drop those puppies, girl!

    • Gold Top Dog

    she did.

We started at midnight (of course) and ended up at 3am...5 puppies...all seem healthy and vigorous. 3 boys and 2 girls...2 red/white and the rest tricolors. I AM TIRED...lol. I do have pics tho...have them up in Photos soon. Momma whelps like a champ...pup out in a timely fashion and when she was done she let me know it.

One of the reds is TINY and skeletal...very shocked when he came out. But he's a fighter and has a strong suck reflex so hopefully he'll do alright.

Oh congrats, Gina!  Glad all turned out well, healthy mama and pups.  Keep fighting, little one!

    Yay!! Beagle Babies!!!!

I thought your previous post said the x-ray showed 6.  Does that mean trouble?  (Don't know nuffin 'bout birfin' no puppies, just curious.)

    • Gold Top Dog

Just means they counted wrong. It happens. She's empty as can be right now, and looks grateful lol.

    • Gold Top Dog

Woo woo! Well done Gina and mama dog... Hang in there Runtchkin!!  heading off to look in PHOTO section now!!

    • Gold Top Dog

Nice job, congrats and we're sending some good vibes for the tiny boy!

    • Gold Top Dog

Oh... totally missed this posts. Have to go ASAP to see the pics.

    Congratulations though Smile

the little red pup...he's gained, quite a lot actually and is still vigorous and active

I've been supplementing him the past couple days and also making sure he gets a "good" teat when I see them feeding so I guess that's been helping. He looks now about like the others did when they were born which is a vast improvement on the skeletal little guy that popped out Wed!

The rest are all filled in now, no more wrinkly loose skin like new puppies have, round and sleek and fat and LOUD when they want to be hehe. Momma aside from seeming intent on sleeping ON them is doing well too. Her temp is normal and she's more relaxed today.
