The Barium series showed no blockages or foreign objects...so whatever did this is not a permanent resident it appears. Tech said his symptoms have come in 4 times today in other dogs...just random tummy stuff with no fever or contagious stuff. She and I were brainstorming and we think it could be all the rain that's brought a mushroompalooza....maybe he snagged one. They're literally everywhere here with our sandy soil, I pull what I find but they go places in the yard sometimes, that I can't reach lol. Some of those even a lick is enough to make someone ill.   He can't come home til he can eat and keep it down, hoping that's tomorrow. They're giving anti nausea stuff to rest his GI tract, fluids, etc, They said Barium itself can help as it coats the GI tract as it exits and it seems to really help some dogs feel better.   SO that's where we are now...he's not in immediate danger...even close to crashing as he's not dehydrated....just waiting and waiting...*sigh*   thanks EVERYONE for those good vibes....keep them coming and think Pepto Bismol laced thoughts! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
