    Mindless Chatter - Monday

     Sorry, couldn't wait Julie.

Today's the day folks!  Eviction day!  That's it!  I'm done.  Baby, you're coming out, ready or not.  I've left instructions with Tyler to post a thread when he gets home after she's born.  It kind of sucks that he won't be able to stay with me in the hospital tonight, but even though my mom is keeping Kale and Kali, the dogs are going to be stuck inside all day.  Poor things.  I'm gonna ask my sister to drop by and let them out for a few minutes.  Tyler wanted to give them these huge chickens we got them yesterday since they were going to be locked up.  Uh....NO!!!  Imagine overeating and then not having access to the bathroom all day?!  That would be worse than torture!

So anyway, today is baby day.  Wish me luck!

Yay!  Baby time!  Good luck.  And thanks in advance to Tyler for filling us in.  Best wishes for an easy delivery.

Candace we'll be thinking of you!!! Best wishes

OK just watching the today show and Laura Bush was on - her appearance just creeps me out some, she wears soooooooooooooooooooo much makeup and her hair looks exactly the same everytime you see her, wonder if it's a wig. I'm watching hi def and her neck was wrinkly (appropriate for her age) but her face was all smooth.  It just looks so unnatural. To be clear I am not making a comment about her personality.

The guys are here to put my bathroom back together.  This really should be the end of it.

DH left last night for a training class not home until Friday night.  Bugsy always turns into a guard dog when DH is gone.  He's a doggie on the edge (think Shrek). LOL  This morning on our walk someone came out for the newspaper and Bugsy was like who's that, what are they doing, he was fully flexed and ready to charge.  Kind of fascinates me that he is like that.

Wohoo! Come on Baby! Sending you easy labor vibes!

Tired tired. I was up a million times last night. Why does Lily always have to go out in the middle of the night even though the last potty time is around 10pm?

Abbie is going through boot camp at my house from now on. She is getting very dog aggressive and I think it stems from resource guarding me. So, from now on it's strict NILIF, no special priveledges and extensive obedience training.

I so don't want to be at work.

Candace I hope all goes well. It will be nice to finally "meet" your baby! Good Luck

We had an awesome weekend. The doggy fun day was incredible. I hope next year to go both days. They had everything at this place.

The weather cooled off considerably from Sat to Sun. I was in my swim top on Sat, and in a sweater on Sun. Michigan weather. It has been awesome sleeping weather. My horse was great yesterday for my lesson. I am getting excited we may be able to get back on a program really soon. The summer shows are ending, my trainer will be around more. I want to raise the jumps and start riding a "jumper" again. It has been a long time.

Thinking of you, Candace.  I bet they will induce at a slower pace in hopes your body will take over from there.  My sister's delivery was like that.  I hope you feel great tomorrow and that baby and you are happily resting before you know it.  ~+~~+~+~+~+~+~~+Smooth delivery vibes for Candace~+~+~+~+~+~+~

I flew in from NH last night - oh my word.  Our flight left about 50 mins later than it was supposed to, and about 70% of us on the plane missed our connecting flights.  They ended up booking me on another flight supposed to leave today at 11am.  I just couldn't do that to my boss and miss another day of work, so I just made it onto another flight to another city in AZ (by way of Vegas).  Got in at 1am, with a 2 hour drive back home.  DAMN I am tired, but surprised that I am up and doing things while BF is still fast asleep.

Poor guy - he's been working hard on the new house.  I can't wait to go see it today after work.  And maybe finally take pictures before he gets everything done! lol

Candace - you and baby will be in my thoughts today!

Bugsy - good boy for making sure your mom-lady is ok while your dad-guy is away.

*** Heading over to make coffee for everyone else ***  Trust me, I need some too.  I'm simply exhausted from my marathon olympics watching this weekend...  Big Smile

It's lucky for the boys that we took a break to go to the lake a couple of time.

Forgot to mention, Michelle Rodriguez (the actress from Lost, Girlfight, as well as that movie The Fast & The Furious) was also stuck in Atlanta.  It was weird, because I heard her voice right behind me and recognized it, turned around and saw her but could not for the life of me remember her name.

We all stood in line for 25 mins and nobody else recognized her.  I didn't say a word about her celebrity to her, though.  She was pretty interesting, and very outgoing.  Said she was just coming back from Italy, trying to get home to LA.  (Had a guitar in tow)  I was surprised she was on her own.

There is lots of posturing going on - the workers arriving inspired this pose - could he spread his back legs further?

Paige glad you are safe and sound - flying has become such a huge hassle!

Oh and folks my bathroom is finally finished -where's that clapping smiley when you need it?

now I just get to clean it and put all my stuff back

Thinking about Candace hope she and baby are doing well!

I am thinking about Candace today too.  I know she said she had her last baby was born really fast so hopefully from the beginning of induction to delivery is quick and not too painful!

Our little girl has been kicking up a storm!  Last night hubby had his hand on my belly trying to feel it and when she kicked it was so hard that it made me jump!  Too bad he didn't feel it since I jumped.  I also felt a hard one while I was in the pool.  I need to lay down while she is active and see if I can see my belly moving!

I was on vacation for half of last week and really don't want to be here today.  OK, back to work.

Yay, Candace! I was thinking of you today and I hope the baby gets here safe and sound!!

So I think I have a problem. Our Dunkin Donuts has happy hour from 2p-6p every weekday - small iced coffee, iced lattes, iced teas, or hot coffee is only 99 cents! So I usually go maybe 4 days a week and get a caramel swirl iced latte. For less than a buck, why not?! But I think I'm hooked. I just get so sleepy by 2pm and who doesn't love iced lattes?

My sister had to stay overnight out-of-town last night, so she let her roommate watch her dog Jack. Her roommate said that Jack magically opened the pantry doors and raided the trash (he is a trash-eater, hence why the trash can is in the pantry!!) and puked all over, so she put him in the bathroom with no water!! :( Kate came over to borrow the steam cleaner. Poor Jack, he can't resist trash. I know her stupid roommate left the pantry doors open, and then to just stick him in the bathroom?! I'd be so mad if someone treated Pirate like that.

Years ago I was at a horse show and I saw this girl, she looked so familiar, then I heard her voice that was familiar too. I was SURE I knew her from somewhere. I was just about to walk up to her and say "don't I know you?" when someone came up exclaiming her name "LINDA" and I realized OMG that is Linda Blair! I was so glad I didn't make a fool of myself!

Maybe it wasn't true, but I heard a few years ago NOT to use the swiffer wet if you had pets.  I think it was really harmful (fatal?) if a pet walked on the floor and then licked their feet.  Like I said, not sure if it's true, but I remember being told that.
