Well, all your good vibes turned that scary looking growth in Sofia's butt into a piece of dried POOP! Woo Hoo!!

Honest, I'm so glad (if embarrassed [sm=blush.gif]) I was wrong, but she never, EVER lets anything stick to her, she's extremely clean and fastidious, and it didn't LOOK like poop! The vet said that her rectum looking like it had a growth was probably her having inverted it temporarily. [sm=eek.gif] Gee Sofie, don't DO that!

Before we even got her into surgery the vet had me hold her and she YANKED that thing off her butt and Sofia SCREAMED! From that I thought it must have been a skin tag or something but nope, the vet said it was good old dried poop. Go figure!

The bad cyst is gone. She has around six stitches for me to take out in ten days. She has nice short nails now, got her anal glands expressed and blood drawn for a blood panel. All while she was sleeping! The vet also checked her teeth and said they were just great. )

No satellite dish, no Elizabethan collar. She's way too cool for that. []
The vet gave her Rimadyl to take but she's doing fine and I'm kinda afraid to give it to her...I've heard horror stories about Rimadyl....

Now we just have to keep Ole and Sofia from getting too WILD!

So that's the, uh, poop on how she's doing!

ROTFLMAO mostly out of relief for Miss Fia.  Silly girl, poopy butts are for Papillons.  I'm so relieved that she's okay.  Tell that crazy boy of yours that she can't be playin' like normal for a while.  Continued good vibes for speedy healing & no more poopy butts.
