Sofia is going in for surgery to remove that nasty cyst that burst last week. But even scarier, I saw (also last week) that she has some kind of growth near her anus that is sticking out. It looks like a tick (but it's NOT--we don't have ticks here) and I can't really get a good look at it because she turns into Crazy Wild Thing if you go
anywhere near her butt. Not that I blame her....but.....it's really worrying me. I don't know if there is a tumor there below it or not. She's pooping just fine. She doesn't smell like anal glands. [sm=crossfingers.gif] I'm hoping that it's nothing, just a skin tab or something....

I take her in at 9:30am tomorrow. For you on the East Coast that will be 1:30pm. I pick her up at 3:30 the same day (7:30 EST). I still have to work another three hours that day, so she'll be on the couch at work with me until 6:30 and I won't get home until 7pm my time. Which is 11pm for EST. So if you don't hear from me on Wednesday it's more a time zone issue than anything else.
Please send good energy that she'll be okay! I'm aways afraid of anesthesia, too. But she's done fine with it twice so far in her life so I hope she'll do fine again.
