Buddy is having a BAD week

Cotton Mouth snakes (aka Water Mocassins) are nasty, aggressive and much much more poisonous than copperheads.  If you or your dogs get bitten by one of the snakes...immediately go to the hospital (or e-vet).  Benedryl isn't enough for one of these bad boys.

I did not mean to sound as if I would just be giving benadryl!  Of course I would be making a very fast trip to the vet!  The benadryl would be "first aid" while enroute to the vet.

So glad to hear that Mark.  I've had run ins with those bad boys.  Copperheads don't scare me, Cotton Mouths do.  I've seen some ugly results of a Cotton Mouth bite on a person.   And, to think about a dog (any size) getting bit...well, that just gives me the heebies.

But, you are right on.  I would do the same...give the benedryl on the way to the e-vet.

I'm so glad to hear that Buddy is feeling better.  Give him some more luvins from me, please. :o)
