Whose dog would you take?

    • Gold Top Dog
    SANDY! Because I love her...

Tonka, because he looks like Cherokee.

Oh, and Ace for the same reason.

Kovu, because he has my cat's name, and has fantastic eyes.

Ella, because she's like Cherokee and Jaz meshed, but with better ears. [:D

All the papillons.. All the herders... Okay, can I just have everyone??

Oh wait! I want Tyler! Because he's such a good little therapy boy, and so good with the 'portant walks! [:)]

    Sofia
Ole - I think i've fallen in love with him.
ALL of the husky/husky mixes - I love them all! (But please send your fenced yards with them!)
    orangedog's Tango
    tamhow's Lucy

there must be more.. so many beautiful dogs!

    TAOof goldy's shepherd mix

[sm=floating.gif]  Thanks for the mention!! (clarification: poo-eating Myrika is a genu-whine German import, not a mix [8D])  ...must admit that I'm very fond of Ixa, as well!

Ha, you guys who want Ole.....does that mean you'll pay his vet bills, too? [sm=devil.gif]

But seriously, if anyone is motivated to get a really neat dog, wants a medium-sized one that fits neatly into cars and under the bed and doesn't mind HAIR HAIR HAIR....

check out the elkhound rescue page:http://elkhoundrescue.org/

These are really great folks! Oddly enough, most of the elkies who need people are back east and more southern than northern. Go figure! [8D] Lots of transport is done, so no worries. If *I* can get one where I am, anyone can.

Oh! Theres so many! Ixa is so unique, Marlowe is so handsome, Willow is simply breathtaking, all the bullies make me smile and the little guys like Fudge, Gingerbread & JoJo are so cute you could just imagine hugging them up.

Aha, now I am in the know! But my new poo munching buddy will have to be content with teaching me rock diving and leaving it at that [;)] What is the pretty name Myrika? Is it German, too?

Nope-nope...all my lovelies are names after trees.  We needed an "M" name for Myrika's registration.  Her name is Myrika-Betula.  Myrika = bay berry/wax myrtle bark, and Betula = birch.  Thanks for asking! [:)]

I almost forgot Marvin! I know DPU needs to find a home for him - and I'd snap him up in a sec if I could get hubby talked into another dog. Maybe I'll start begging for another baby then tell him I'll "settle" for another dog [sm=devil.gif]

For those of you who would take him, get your napkin ready, hes a sloppy (constant) kisser!

Xerxes (I think Ed has scared everyone else off LOL)

He'd definitely give yours something to chase, but they'd have to team up to catch him!!!  Just don't be expecting a cuddly snuggle puppy at the end of the day, nor expect that your favorite chair will ever be unoccupied.

For those who registered an interest in Pofi, we humbly thank you and he has asked that I poll you to find out who has:
    1. the most squirrels at their home
    2. the slowest squirrels at their home
    3. the dumbest squirrels at their home

Gotta have something to keep him occupied and on his game!

I'd like Tootsie, cause I've a growing fondness for Corgies and she's so camera shy - it would be my mission to capture her in all her cuteness!

I'd like Sofia, Ole, Tojo and LisaK's Dora because each one of them have fabulous smiles/facial expressions.

    Tasha 'cause she's so pretty

Grrrady so we could finally see Pofi and Grady side by side...

Harley, 'cause her face is sooooo beautiful.

after thinking about this - I may have the solution

we buy a 100 acre wood - fill it with our babies (after all the other wild life has been relocated) build ourselves hobit holes with pet friendly doors and we all move there - then all the dogs would be everyone's -seperate ares for the smaller breeds than the those with strong prey drive - spay or neuter for any "free roamer" only the show or breeders and them to be loving cared for put seperate - no "accidents"

then I can run & play with the big dogs or snuggle a litte one if I want

Dam-it, you changed your signature. I was looking all over for that picture of your shitzu with the quote "If looks could kill." What a cutie.  I spent 10 minutes looking for your picture for this post.  What a character.

Awwwwe, Thank You.  He's had mixed reviews. Sometimes when I take him out people think he's growling because of his underbite.  And several times young children have called him ugly.  "Mommy, that's an ugly dog."  and of course they say it over and over again because their mom didn't acknowledge what they said, because she's embarresed.  He really is well behaved though.  He doesn't destroy things either.

I'd borrow Mhad's Kuruk, astarah's Shippo, rolenta's Loki, Glenda's Tyler, Jean's Sofia and Ole, Fudge, Pofi and Mia, any of Anne's well-trained aussies, and Mr. Grady. I'm sure I missed a whole lot of others out though! Too many wonderful dogs on this forum.
