My parents are throwing a luau for DH & I next weekend.  Only one of my brothers attended the wedding because we decided to get married on such short notice.  The reception is supposed to be a way of introducing us to all of my family.  We started out with a guest list of around 125 people, but it seems to have made its way up to around 180 now. Confused

We didn't decide to do this until Sunday, so we're working with only a short period of time to pull everything together.  Today, I found the lanterns that I want to use for centerpieces.  I confirmed the flowers, although I think that I may need to add to that order.  DH met with the caterers today, & finalized the menu.  I have no clue what we are eating, but DH assures me that it will be good.

We still have to decide on music, along with a million other things.  I've already starting stressing over this, & it supposed to be a fun, laid back reception.  I have asked myself "why did I get married on short notice in Vegas?"  Suddenly, I remember...

Agility Update, see pics in pic section too!

    The girls did decently:

Maggie was clean but slow as usual, though she did surprise me by pulling out her best run on the last run of the day - very very unusual for her, especially in 90+ degree heat and high humidity for 6 hours. Big Smile

Ziva did nicely for a dog who's not practiced full courses anywhere other than our training facility (I only have weaves, jumps, and a tunnel for practice at home lol) - she hit *every* contact despite only having worked them in any methodical way for about 6 weeks and at high speeds to boot. She kept all but one bar up at 12" and had no problem jumping multiple 16" and one 24" by accident in practice runs. Weaves are still a work in progress but they improved over her 3 runs. Smile She did take a few off course, but all but one was due to my body language and the one that wasn't was because she is a contact sucker vs. tunnels lol. The teeter scared her so we have more work to do on that now. Huh?

A good time was had by all and no rain until just after we finished packing up. Smile
