Rescuing Lulu (Callie)

    Hi Callie,

I finally had a chance to look around dog.com to find what you have been writing regarding Tinkerbell. This is a far back I could find. I was shocked at the before photo. I cried. But now...wow! I'm so happy you have her. She looks incredible. What a sweet little thing and a perfect name for her. You can just see in her little face that she knows she is loved. God bless you and David.

You should see the little stinker today -- she just finished running Billy ragged up and down the hall and now she wants to go outside and take Luna on.  It's so good to see her feeling good and energetic but Luna and Billy are tired now *grin*.

I think Lulu is this type of dog, "yeah, she can stay".  I think she is a keeper.

    Yep -- definitely a keeper.

We're practicing 'tag team' parenting here.  Heaven forbid I had to spend a few moments in the family reading room ... I didn't crate her and haven't needed to leash her to me, she's been extremely good with a couple of exceptions.

She pretty well followed me in (there is NO privacy in this house *grin*) and suddenly Billy appeared.  Wasn't sure what he wanted ... *thot* he just wanted affection ... but then suddenly Luna poked HER nose in the room -- Billy disappeared and Luna came in ... ***quite*** agitated to tell me something.

so .... I went to check out what she wanted and she wanted me IN the kitchen.  to POINT to a .... puddle.

Now ... 4 dogs -- do I know who?  Nope.  did I scold anyone?  Nope -- but I did make the point that THIS goes outside (and took all the appropriate steps to put them out while I cleaned up, and then left the towels where it SHOULDA gone to begin with -- yes, that's my way of training).

However -- this isn't the first time this has happened -- Billy and Luna are making GREAT efforts to 'watch the baby'.  Tag team parenting??  Maybe!  Billy was trying to tell me ... and when he failed Luna got the point across.

Tell me what?  My guess is "It wasn't ME ... not MY mess!" But I thot it was pretty hysterical anyway. Ms. Kee is pretty old and *she* has accidents once in a while too -- and heck, when something like that happens it's not their fault -- MINE for not being attentive enough.

But I have to watch this "tag team parenting" that's going on -- Maybe I could get them their own TV show on Animal Planet?  Maybe I should write a book?  Their own reality series??  The possibilities are endless!  *rotfl my behind o*

I have been keeping up with all the progress but just havent had a minute to write til now.   So how is "Puppy life", lol!  Sounds like she is keeping the whole house hopping!   Has it changed you routine much?Stick out tongue  I know you are probably loving it but maybe secretly said to yourself, "This is why I get older adults".....  I know I had those thoughts when we got Rocky after having Shadow all trained.   It is fun tho!  I vote for "Pooch Parenting"  on Animal Planet.  Its just like our 2.  I have never seen Hot Shot get into anything or chew anything, I have seen Rocky chew up any tissue or paper towel he can get his mouth on (Is that some kind of definciency,ha?)  Anyway, 2 times this week he comes running into the kitchen bouncing around going nuts, I think he wants outside and I go to the living room and there is Hot Shot laying down with tissue all around him and the tissue box right by his paws.  Now Ron and I cant tell,   but we think Rocky is tearing them all up while Hot is asleep and then coming in to tell on him.  They both get put outside but Hot kinda looks at me like "Whaddid I do?"  Rocky is bouncing around like "Nany nany boo boo!" "You got in trouble", lol.

I love the "big help" from Emma. It's such a cute thing when the "big dog" has to help with the "baby". The best dog trainer in the world has GOT to be a dog!
