They are cuter than cute and I hope you get the one that was taken back soon. If the boy is not quite right, letting him be in sole possession of a young pup could lead to a disaster; just the fact that he stole it casually smells bad to me.

To answer your question about Capstar, their site says that it is suitable for cats and puppies 4 weeks or older and weighing 2 lbs or more. The dosage they give for 2 to 25 lbs is one tablet (http://www.capstar.novartis.us/dog/en/label.shtml)

I love these puppies! They are so cute and I can't believe that somebody would dump them but I know they did it the way they did because of you.  You are the Dog In Need person for sure.

I swear that one on the right is calling my name . . .

kle1986 is interested in Vanilla the third puppy from the right.

I just gave each a tablet they are sleeping now.

Coffe is back! I was doing the laundry and from there you can see out to Shailer's pen. So I was looking at him and I looked at something moving and I realized it was Coffee. So of I go to take her out and bring her inside the house. Now all three puppies are fighting over one toy! LOL I will bath her and give her a capstar. I hope they all fitt in the crate.....

I'm so glad she's back!  She was my favorite of the three.  I love that little white spot on her head.  And if I didn't have four dogs already, I would take her in a heartbeat.

I think they are too young to detect a mix and puppies grow in spurts not always coordinated with the rest of the body. Example, large breeds often grow large paws first, then grow into the size of dogs that match the paws. But I definitely see the Yellow Lab influence in facial structure and ears and girth of the body.

    Good luck with them.

    ETA:

They all have big paws. The one on the right shows a strong Yellow influence. The left and middle have odd coloring, which would suggest a mix. Purebred Labs, Black, Chocolate, and Yellow are monochromatic, at least in adulthood, though Blacks can get a white diamond on the chest. And I agree that a possible mix might include some kind of hound, though I wouldn't suggest Dachshund. More likely Beagle or Coonhound.

She is the girl with the attitude! Came home fighting everybody. I think she might be the leader as she bullies the other two and is always carring her tail way up high in the air while the other two don't.
