Emergency Question! (With Update, we saw the vet)

OK, I just talked to the surgeon.  She was able to remove about 90% of the tumor.  The x-rays showed that it has NOT spred to anywhere else in his body!!!  She will know and call me on Thursday whether it is cancerous and wht our next step will be.  She could only get 90% out because she had to stop the bleeding.  More of his jaw will need to be removed to get to the rest.  I suppose I'll be setting up another surgery appointment in the near future.

I am just so happy right now and I can't wait to pick him up (I have to wait til between 4 and 4:30).  Thank you all so much.  I don't know what I would have done without your support.  Buster is so loved here and I greatly appreciate that.  I will keep you posted as to how things progress.

So glad to hear that the surgery went well. Both you and he will be in my prayers that the tumor wasn't cancerous. I hope he has a super-speedy recovery.
