Any news, Glenda?  Sure hope we haven't heard anything because you and hubby are celebrating.

Crap.  Ne news yet.  BUT, I'm thinking no news is GOOD news.  Todd did try to call this afternoon as requested but the guy had left the office early.

I went  waaaaay out of my way on the way to work....too distracted to notice my turn.  Did a few really ditzy things today.  This weekend is gonna be sure torture, intersperced with a heck of a lot of praying.

   Oh Glenda, I hope this is finally it; you've been waiting for so long. I've been praying for you daily and will do the same over the weekend.

Man, this is like being on a roller coaster.  The emotional ups and downs are about to do me in.

I've never been a terribly patient person, but I've learned over the years that if I ASK for patience, I get some very difficult lessons.  So I don't ask anymore.  I somehow think that six months is long enough to wait  but I'm surely not going to tempt the fates by saying THAT too loudly.

Glenda, I just saw this thread, sorry it took a while for me to chime in.

I don't see how you couldn't be anxious in a situation like this...the waiting and anticipation is most difficult.  When you feel yourself getting all keyed up, take some nice looong relaxing breaths to calm yourself.  We're all here pulling for you and your DH.  Thank goodness you have those six gorgeous babies to focus your energy on during times of stress.

 I've been on the job hunt myself for the last 6 months.  I've gotten about 10 interviews, but no dice.  I think I've got nearly 100 aps out there, all over the country.  It's so frustrating being the close 2nd.  A whole lotta good that does you.  I just managed to land a small temporary job (couple of months) locally, and that has taken a lot of pressure off (4 months of 0 income is very bad).  I wish you the best of luck and do hope you hear from them.  But remember, these people will generally do anything to not have to be the one that tells you that you didn't get the job so they're not going to be the ones calling you unless you got it.  Oh, and remember to send thank you notes after every interview.

Continued prayers and good vibes.  Eventually the jobs you're meant to have will be there.  Hopefully this one is it.  I just admire your outlook so much.
