A Keesie hello!

Hi,

I'm glad to meet all of you! I have 2 Keeshond furry boys named Twix (6y) and Zig Zag (3y) and a 6 month old Keesie/Sheltie mix foster pup by the name of Dee Dee. I compete in agility with my Keesie boys and, I have just found an agility home for sweet little Dee Dee. Once the adoption process is complete, she is going to have the most awesome home! I'll miss her terribly, but am thrilled at the adventures in store for her with this wonderful family. I also have a household of birds - 2 cockatiels and 2 budgies, all adopted from a bird rescue.

Big Smile Your Keeshonden are SO cute! I love them, they're absolutely adorable. Keesies are lovely dogs, you're so lucky. Looking forward to seeing you around!

A Pappy hello back @ ya. I'm Annie & am currently owned by a 60# Lab/Hound named Grady, a 13# Papillon named Aspen & an fostering a 10.3# Pap/Pom mix named Snickers. I know how you feel once a foster child moves on to their furever home. It's such mixed feelings. Joy for them, sadness for you. I wish DeeDee a WONDERFUL new life with LOTS of adventures & love in her new home.

Thanks, that's it exactly! I am so very happy and excited for Dee Dee but, my heart is taking a hit. This is my first fostering. I've had Dee Dee for 4 months, ever since she was dumped at a shelter when she was 2 months old. Now, it's time to let go. The nice thing is I know her new family from agility trials and have become friends with them. Dee Dee won't be out of my life forever, so that is helping me cope.

Oh, you are soooooooo lucky! I'm sure that Dee Dee will flourish in her new home. Along with being dog nerds here & you learn alot this place is a GREAT support system for broken hearts when fosters move on to the lives foster so deserve.
