Jan, she is absolutely beautiful! Congrats to you and your family. I hope your recovery is speedy. And I am sending you weight gaining well wishes(we had some of those issues in the beginning). If you need anything or have any questions at all feel free to send me a PM or an email. I can't wait to see ruppie and willa pics! Her name is beautiful, just like she is!

I gotta say...b/c of this thread, the name is really really REALLY growing on me. I've always like Willem or Willam for a boy (gotta have Dutch names in our family), but never even thought of Willa for a girl...it's just too cute! *writes down for future reference*

Oh Jan shes beautiful. I was getting really worried when it took a while for an update but I'm glad everything went well. And I'll also be sending weight gaining vibes for Willa. Nolan had issues with that at first too (he lost 10% of his birth weight at the hos.) but he put on weight fast once we got home. I hope the next few weeks are fairly easy on you as you recover!

I have to tell you, even BF, who is anti-all-things-baby, (he thinks new babies look like 'aliens with squishy faces' ~L~ and doesn't like new baby smell!) peeked over my shoulder while I was looking at piccies and goes, 'aw, she's kinda cute!'. So even the disliker of babies loves her!

After checking out these photos again and seeing the beautiful ones Emily took of Meri with the peep and the tulips, along with all the other adorable babies on this forum, I wish there was some way all you talented photographers/mothers could get together somewhere. Then we could see some stunning photos of all the sweet faces (and their doggy brothers and sisters with them) in one big group!! Smile
