    rwbeagles-anyone know Asian cuisine well?

I wondered WHAT the actual name of the sauce always served with potstickers/dumpings is? It's NOT soy sauce...it's different...not spicy..more garlicy and ginger maybe? It's SO good...and I'd love to buy some but "pot sticker sauce" doesn't seem to be on the grocer shelves LOL.

    Help?

Who MAKES the product then? Sam's? or some other company that just may have a website with information?

ETA: Does the sauce come with the box?

    • Gold Top Dog

I guess I am not much help either I love to use General Taos sauce. I have used Duck sauce but It is sweeter in my opinion.  I buy most of my sauces at the Gourmet shop at the mall, it isn't expensive about 7.00 a bottle for a decent sized bottle. I cook a lot of Chinese and am learning to cook Japanese. You should have seen my 5 grand kids we took them to a Hibachi restaurant, they were mesmerized watching the chef toss the knives and flaming the food on the grills.  I had to laugh as they were highly suspicious of the soup... Caity (5) whispered to Ceattle (4) "watch out I think it's dishwater !!" hee hee hee ya got to love them !!

I am blessed by the fact that I have a true Asian shop just around the corner from the office, I can get A LOT of stuff there that I cannot anywhere else. I suppose I could wander in there to see if they have a sauce.....Smile

And thank you very much, you just decided my birthday dinner for friday!
