I hit a wall, and some days I feel like I actually gained weight. I workout a ton but I stopped losing, and I finally decided it has to be because I'm eating way too many calories.

This could be muscle tone!!  Muscle weighs more fat.  And burns more calories!  So "losing weight" is not the be all, end all.  Just because you have stopped losing weight does not mean you are not losing FAT.  Measuring is better than weighing ESPECIALLY if you workout.  Throw out your scales.

Yep.. chuffy is 100% right and don’t get discouraged over your weight and especially don’t fixate on it.  I rarely weigh myself anymore because I continue to gain weight even though my clothing sizes go down. Your weight may not be a representation of how much you still need to lose.  It depends on your body and how much muscle mass you gain.

For example, I am 5 foot 4 inches and am stuck at 141 right now.  the actual weight of 140, puts me in the low end of the “overweight” category.  While I DO need to lose a few more pounds, I hardly consider wearing a size 6 and an occasional 4 pants to be “overweight”.    When I look in the mirror I can tell my “problem areas” and know that I still need to lose probably 5-8 more pounds, but if I went just by weight, I would think I needed to lose another 15 or so.

Counting inches and sizes is the best way to go.

Quick question for all those who subscribe to calorie King… is it worth it in your opinion?  I only have to lose maybe 8 pounds more at the most and I can still access the calorie counter…. So what else is on the paid part that might be helpful to me and worth the money?
