Thanks guys! For those of you with puppy fever, you can have him when he's doing the whining and screeching like he is right now! [:D]

Congratulations! He is a doll. Shih Tzu's are wonderful in every way. Yes, it is fun how many colors they come in! ha. Trudy is a brindle. She has black, white, brown and a gorgeous copper color!

He came from Peoria IL and he was flown to us.

Was this from the same breeder as Cinnabun?  If so, sounds like she did a better job matching you guys up personality-wise this time.  Good luck with the newest puppy!  He's cute!

Thanks Sally! And speaking of Trudy, is she on the Fido Rido website? I was looking for doggie carseats and I thought I saw her on the testimonial page.

Oops we were posting at the same time. This little guy is from a different breeder, oddly enough very close in proximity though, Cinnabun was from Indiana. But this time I asked different questions about personality. It's a MUCH, much better match. The weird thing is that even though this puppy is really playful, Gingerbread likes him soooo much better than Cinnabun.

Fudge is just adorable and I love that coloring I haven't seem that color in shih tzu's in my area. I'm glad to hear that Gingerbread and him are get along great besides the humping.  I just love your dessert names for all your animals all though I think they would be making me wanting sweets all the time.

    OH I CAN"T TAKE IT - he's TOOOOOOOOOOO cute !!!   Congratulations.

Funny how the little pipsqueak is humping the "old timer" - guess he's trying to make his place in the pack.   Maybe post the question in the behavior section - I've heard that its a play for dominance.

Such chocolatey goodness!!!   Gosh, he's cute!!!  Congratulations on your new addition.  I bet it will be non-stop playing in your house for a few days!  I'm so glad Gingerbread likes this little guy------------Have fun!   [:D]

    Congrats!!

Jack humped Sally a lot in the beginning too.  She is not what I would call "passive" but she would either try to move away when he did it, or if she was tired enough, just let him knock himself out.  He eventually toned down a bit.

OMG, so much cuteness!!  How can you stand it?  Give him a  [sm=kiss.gif]  from me!

I thought so! I was showing my husband all of the cute pics on their photos page and I was like- wait a second, I think I know that one! [:D][:)]

Christina- What you're describing with Sally and Jack is almost exactly what's happening here! Gingerbread usually either moves away, mouths Fudge, or just sits there and lets Fudge hump him, then looks at me with this expression that says- puppies. [&o] I guess he's not being passive with Fudge so much as very tolerant. I have to give him lots of credit for being so patient with this little whipper snapper!

Congrats on the new addition [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif]   Fudge is just adorable!  Of course, so is Gingerbread!

As far as the humping thing goes; my two guys still do that sometimes.  Sometimes Sam does it to Willie, other times Willie does it to Sam.  Willie is "usually" the boss (of Sam) at home, but it all depends on what they're doing.  Sammy quickly becomes more dominant if food is involved, where as Willie can pin Sammy or take away his toys, etc.

You will LOVE having 2 of them; they will keep you so entertained that you will never need a television again!

DH and I sometimes just sit and watch our two and how they play, bicker, and interact with eachother.

    I miss the puppy breath[:(]

Thanks Tzumommy!! I agree, watching them interact is incredibly entertaining! Gingerbread has turned the tables a little and humped Fudge a few times, which really surprised me. It looks like my boys are probably going to do the same as yours, switching back and forth between who's in charge. It's just great to see them wrestling and chasing each other around the house. [:)] Of course right now I am exhausted from lack of sleep... I don't think I'll mind at all when Fudge gets a little older!

I just wanted you to know that I saw your new siggy on another thread and I just had to search out your posts to get introduced to your new baby.  You have definitely got two beauties!  Best of luck with Fudge.
