keeping a male puppy intact

• jennie_c_d Posted : 2/17/2008 12:25:12 AM  I know a lot of intact males. Their pee smells worse, but as long as they're trained well, there isn't a problem. An untrained dog will mark, male or female, intact or not, if it feels like it. The first thing Teenie did when she stepped foot in my front door was lift her leg on a chair. • AquaClaraCanines Posted : 2/17/2008 1:10:43 AM I've had many intact dogs of many breeds, and none have ever marked in my house. Just my experience. Then again, I don't keep toy breeds.
