I got my tea and lemon cranberry muffin this morning, AND, the man and wife who own the coffee shop (they know me, I have been going there nearly every morning for over 4 years :P) kept the muffins in the oven for me, so they were hot! and I got 2!!!!

I got the reasons from the Crown's office last night, and I am pretty damn frustrated.  He is being released. In their decision, one of the things they say is:

8.    ....Dr. **...gave it as his medical opinion that the accused has, as a cluster or as alternatives, diagnoses of schizophrenia, schizaffective disorder, a personality disorder together with a psychosis NOS.  He has had no change in his condition since June 2007.  The recently prescribed drug, olanzapine has had no improvement, since his psychotic feelings are continually fixated on the victim.  His insight has not improved.  His understanding of his illness is limited.  He cannot be trusted.

Yes, so it would be a GREAT thing for him to be released!  This makes no damn sense to me!

I was up till 4am last night and I've had bad insomnia all week long from noise & stress... Today is being spent thinking about new ways to sleep better!! (and I have a king size temperpedic bed! grrr... and i still can't sleep... lame...) hehe

lmichelle:  That doesn't make any sense!  They're saying he's not at all better and nothing has helped but they're still letting him go?  WTF?!?  I don't know what happened but just from this info I'm p*ssed for you.  Is there anything you can do?  Do you atleast live in a different area, so maybe he doesn't know where you are?

I still haven't gotten our taxes done :o(  I cashed out my Freedom 529 account so I need the form from them and I don't have it yet.  I called and they said it was mailed out at the end of January so if I don't have it by next week I should call back and get a new copy sent.  I hate waiting..... We usually get a refund, but for some reason this year I just feel anxious about it.  I want to get it over with.

TurboTax is reeeeeeally easy. My Dad showed me how it works this year and I was like psh this is a joke... I even do a short cut and just whip out the "Simpe/Easy" Tax form...

I'm deff lazy about the mailing part... well i'm getting like only $100 back from the state lol and i OWE the federal $500... so i guess that's why i'm in no rush... it's sitting here here on my desk all done...

Pomerainien, you should be able to get it at grocery stores or drug stores.

TheDogHouse - We are going to appeal it.  I have had to move to a different city so as far as I know he doesn't know where I live.  it's just so frustrating

Either my Dad or step-Mom is gonna do it for us.  They both work at Jackson Hewitt.  I know Turbo Tax is easy but I've got a lot of different forms going on and I don't want to screw it up....next year should be simplier and maybe I'll try it then.  Plus if it's wrong, isn't it their fault?

Talk about messed up roads. I left about 15 minutes after my dad this morning, and made it in to the office an hour before him, because we took different roads. The way I went didn't flood, and every other road the way he went was flooded out. I called him when I got here, because I was sort of worried that I got here before him, especially considering that it took me 3 tries to select the correct exit from the traffic circle this morning, so I had to keep making u-turns and going back in. I think my dad is here now, but I'm really not sure. Anyway, I ended up trying to find where my dad was on mapquest and giving him directions to get here, because his gps kept taking him back to the flooded roads. Mine has cool features like being able to block a closed road, though I haven't tried it that one yet, and another one that considers traffic info. So, about the third time I turned around yesterday because the road was flooded on my way home, it stopped trying to take me that way.

Don't worry about not having your taxes done yet. I haven't done mine yet either, but I am doing other people's. Well, I am entering data for other people to have theirs done. I just did one that had almost as much in medical expenses as I made (not counting my cash paying jobs). I feel bad for that poor guy.

Wow, l.michelle, that really sucks! Sounds like this person needs to be in locked up permanently.

My sister had her baby last night! She wasn't due until Sunday, but apparently our kids want memorable birthdays. Her first was born 06-06-06, and this one was born on Valentine's Day. I'm due April Fool's Day. Silly! They named her Margaret and she's perfect, that's about all I know for now - she called at about 1am this morning. I'm supposed to get more details today.

Julie hope you and Lilly feel better (is it one "L" or 2?) It would suck to be sick your entire long weekend. I didn't want to come in today. I feel fine but I thought about being naughty, but I can't with vacation starting.

We should be getting our refund today. I must remember to check the bank. We do Turbo Tax, this is our second year. When my dad'a annuity ended our situation became so much easier that we stopped paying an accountant. We also pay for Turbo Tax audit protection so we aren't left hanging if necessary. We were paying the accountant $500+ a year. Turbo Tax with audit protection I don't think has been $100. This year we are getting a large refund. I know you are not supposed to overpay on your taxes (you should put it in your savings) I would just rather pay more each check than have to pay because we didn't withhold enough at year end. This refund and that tax rebate will pay off the Subaru repairs (we got rid of the damn car last June) pay on Teddi's hip credit card. So the money is spent.

imichelle - That just sucks he is being released. You are right it does not make sense and they wonder why crime rates are not going down.

Maxine was my Valentines present 11 years ago. The gift that keeps on giving!! Today was also my first horses birthday, he would have been 44 today. I can't believe he has been gone for 12 years. Doesn't seem that long.

Yeah it is. That's why I like it... cuz even if I do mess up I won't get the blame ;o)

Know those commercials where H&R block is making fun of TurboTax and the guy is like "I'm stuck" "oh well tell the box your stuck" seriously people it's such a joke to use TurboTax lol H&R really must be losing people because of Turbo! haha

ahhhh! (if you are my myspace friend check out my wall right now) my boyfriend just posted two really cute comments and he's never on myspace! awww...

he also sent me a sweet apology text (for fighting with me till 4am) AND he invited me out to lunch!!!!! :o)

... he can be such a lil bugger sometimes but gosh does he know how to make up for it!

DH can sometimes be good at making up.  I think the best one was right before Christmas I left work and when I got to my truck he'd left a single rose under the windshield wiper and the card just said he was sorry and loved me.  It was really sweet.  Too bad I was still too mad about the *big* issue we we're having to really appreciate it.
