         I've found my dream horse! His name is Cimarron Starflite. Before I got him, I wanted a Palomino but saw a red roan that I loved, so then I wanted a Palomino with white hairs running through like a roan. I wanted him to have a blaze, big brown eyes, and just the right size to get up onto without a mounting block...maybe 15 or 15.2 hands. Then I saw a lovely chestnut horse with white socks that came all the way up her leg. I wanted my horse to have white legs too. I always loved paints, but only wanted one spot on him. Pretty picky huh! Well that horse is in the pasture right now. The perfect horse for me who met all of my qualifications! A 15.2 hands Palomino Paint with one spot on his left foreleg; long white legs; a flaxen mane and tail; white hairs that run through his coat like a roan; a blaze; and the warmest brown eyes. Fantasy horses do exist...I call him Bo.

They are a pleasure to ride as well.  Would love to have a well bred, well trained Rocky, of any color (but chocolate or black would RULE) someday.

It has been years since I had the time to ride. Hopefully, sometime in the future, we can get a place out in the country, with some land and I can get one. I heard that they were a dream to ride and I would love to find out.

 They truly are.    I worked at a farm where they bred them.  They had the fastest stallion there that was smooth as glass in his gait.  And VERY fast in it as well.  Very cool.
 

In my opinion, there is no better horse than Akhal - Teke. Extremely resilient, superb natural action, one of the oldest breeds, sometimes difficult, completly independent and what I love the most, they have only one master. I'm in love with them... Though any desert breed would do - Barb, Arab, Basuto...

A friend of mine has a Friesian, a stunning animal, but I would not want this breed for myself. Too big, too strong, too heavy, a bit clumsy... I like small, balanced and quick horses with a mind of their own.

I wanted to *just dream* and try to find my dream horse, besides my gelding Phoenix. If I had $6000, I would travel anywhere to get a horse like these ones!

 CIta - I would love to see the first grey you posted in real life! I love TB's and Native Dancer and Secretariat bloodlines make GREAT riding horses. Personally I could never own a grey I am way to anal on my horse appearance I would not be able to handle the dirt without baths over the winter.

I used to have TWHs, and i've always wanted an appendix.

Dawn- I used to do a little competitive trail riding with a rocky mountain...wow! He could rack and it was the smoothest ride you could wish for.
