SUPERBOWL SUNDAY 42

go patriots! i'm ready to witness football history. we're having a small party with home made pimento cheese and home made salsa...then some chili dip and whatever else. Out of beer...too lazy to go buy some so it looks like patron and grapefruit juice for me! haha

I don't watch football, so my football party will be going to the stores, which will pretty much be empty in my one road hick town i live in!  wooohoo empty stores! 

I do, however, have an AMAZING dip sort thing I know how to make if anyone wants the recipe!

 ETA- don`t get me wrong lol I`m not calling people who watch football hicks lol 

BF is having some of his guy friends over to watch the game here.  They are outside, in the rain, BBQing right now.  They have ribs, & brisket on the bbq pit right now, with sausage, chicken, & burgers still waiting to go on.

 BF is from Boston, but he's a die hard Giants fan.

DSs are going to a youth group Super Bowl party (neither of them is a football fan, but hey, the food!).  DH and I are going to get groceries since the stores will be empty.  he hates football too.

*grin* I looked ALL over the entire world for a man who hates sports as much as I do --- FOUND him!! LOL

We'll go out for an early dinner (b/c everyplace closes early cos it's dead on 'superbowl sunday';) and THEN we're going to a movie!! RAH!!! 

Funny note - I come from a family of non-sports people EXCEPT when my father retired and got BORED he learned to watch football and now he watches it all the time!! LOL  I still just can't quite figure out how aliens came down, stole my folks and replaced them with football lovers!!  (*Twilight Zone music plays in background*)

hehehe, did anyone else notice that Gina is gone lol.  Usually she is at the top of the active users list lol.  I bet she is having a great time today!!

Although my team is not in it so I could careless who wins, and I will be at the gym during it since that will also be empty :))))

 I got a big package of wings yesterday, but they were taunting us so we ate them then.  LOL, nobody here is much of a football fan.  Hockey yes, football, not so much so its not a big deal.  Its BF's birthday today though so we're spending the evening watching it, mostly for the half time show.  I did love Jordin Sparks singing the Anthem though.  I called her the winner of American Idol right from her audition so she's my fave American Idol.  Oh and I called the coin toss too!  Hehe, guess football isn't soo bad.

 Congrats Giants!!!!!!! what a great game!!! Yes I ended up watching it...

That was a good football game. Tommy Brady got hit in the mouth enough to make up for the entire season! Eli looked like a man out there...the Giants D pulled together and played strong....big plays from playmakers when needed.

 Giants D was so good.  I love seeing Tom Brady on his back, & I'm so happy that Eli came through when it mattered.

LOL how happy was Belichek (sp?) in the post game interview.  I thinking he never considered they would get beat LOL again!!! 

The guy's class chromosome is defective. He left the field when the game wasn't even over....nice.

Karma...plain and simple. I guess cheating only takes ya so far lol.
