Jack needs prayers--badly...

So relieved all looks good so far - more positive vibes headed his way for a speedy and uneventful recovery!

One of my college roomies had a Dobie girl who had a penchant for eating PART of her underwear - I guess she was customizing them a la Frederick's of Hollywood....

    Surprise

Very late, sorry, but Jack has plenty of crossed paws and fingers on our end for a good recovery.

So happy to hear that Jacks surgery went well. Will be praying and sending healing vibes to Jack during his recovery. Give Sally a special hug and kiss as I know she also misses Jack not being home right now. Hugs to you and your DH.

but now Jack ... take advantage buddy ... get yur mom ta give ya some GRATE messinine stuff.  The pills don't matter -- it's what she PUTS em in.  Hold out fur brunswiggie (liver-worst, man it's GRATE stuff).

Wow, was it a whole pair of underwear!? That's scary. I'm glad he's doing better...or as well as could be expected under the circumstances.

I'm so glad Jack is doing OK Smile Heal up good Jack and tell me.... what KINDSA unnywhere WAS it?  Big Smile

Whew!  I was out all day yesterday but couldn't stop thinking about Jack.  I'm so glad that he's doing well.

Please don't blame yourself.  You've nothing to feel bad or guilty about.  Dogs are stinkers and they find the strangest stuff, despite our best efforts, to decide to eat.  Gosh, sure hope that wasn't one of your favorite pair!  Goofy dog!

Hugs to you, Sally and your DH.....and gentle ear scritches to that rotten stinker who gave you such a horrible scare!

What a silly boy!!! Jack, you gotta keep your mouth where mouths belong, buddy. Underwear in the tummy... that had to feel bad.

I'm SO glad to hear that Jack did well with his surgery. Lots of happy thoughts and prayers for a quick, easy recovery and NO MORE EATING SILLY STUFF!

I'm so sorry I wasn't here earlier to lend some support.  I'm glad the surgery went well and that Jack is on the mend.     You did nothing wrong - Jacks probably seen and been near underwear a thousand times - there's no way you could have know he'd actually EAT them !    You didn't fail him - you recognized he was sick and got him to the vet.  You didn't say "oh, I don't think its worth doing the surgery, I'll just get another dog" - you took care of him.   So you see, you didn't fail him - you saved him.

Good vibes being sent to Jack - feel all better real real soon !

Chuffy, I was wondering the same thing. About the underwear. Hopefully they were not granny-panties. Or tightie-whities.
    • Gold Top Dog

Ooooo oooo!  And did you keep them?
