Jack needs prayers--badly...

 Yay for Jack!!!  Keep on getting better!!

Ugh--Jack threw up again last night.  We were following the vet's instructions on feeding, but I think it was just a bit too much.  We ended up giving him a little less than 1/4 of a can at a time with 6 oz of water.  We've done that twice and he's held it down both times.  I just gave him the last can of his liquid diet.  He is really upset to be cooped up in his crate.  I feel bad, but I'm afraid if I let him hang out in the bedroom without being confined he'll burn off the calories he has managed to take in....     

I know how hard it can be getting a young lab not to run around at top speed, especially when you can't exercise him.

Best wishes for Jack, hopefully he doesn't have to stay confined for too long. 

Oh, and to top it all off, Sally yacked up a large piece of partially digested cow hoof last night.....

Yeah, when I took him out today he about dragged me down the stairs, and when I was trying to see if he had to poop, he kept grabbing sticks.  He actually managed to grab  a 3 ft one with his cone on.... 

At least if he's being naughty he's feeling pretty good, huh?   Keep getting better Jack!

Hey, you should see what Aussies grab when they have cones on - you don't want to know.  Anyway, I'm glad Jack seems to be feeling better.  Best wishes for an early cone removal and back to normal for him. 

WAY late, so sorry!! Glad to hear Jack is Ok and this may be sign that it's time to stop wearing underwear
