Our new Subaru is here (not ours but stockphoto)

This is really the dogs car so you must envision all the nose prints on the back inside.

My other car is a dark blue (almost black) 2002, manual trans, Mustang (I love it).

Sharismom - LOL "winter highlights" maybe that's salt?  (I'm new to this winter thing!) ... whatever it is, my car is a nightmare, too. I wonder where my shiny new car went! Sad

Thanks Cassidysmom! It is new, new for '08, which was kinda scary, but with the extended bumper-to-bumper and the fact that they used the main ingredients from other Nissans to create the Rogue, it  made me feel better about it!  That and I was looking for a sporty car with good gas mileage and I test drove several of the other crossovers and just fell in love with it.  It's not HUGE on the interior, but much bigger than my Mitsubishi Eclipse (i sold it when I moved) so i feel like it's ENORMOUS! Mainly it's big enough for the dogs, has the racks up top for ski's... and is AWD, with lots of safety features, it sold me.

Did yours come with tinted windows or did you do it afterwards? And if so, what level of tinting did you get? I'm gonna have to get mine done before summer hits, cause otherwise, I may melt LOL.  I love silver and black (even if it is Raiders colors, lol) very classy if you ask me!

Ours came with the tinted windows. We've parked it in the shade on a pretty warm day with the front and side windows down a few inches, and it's actually been cooler in the car than outside, so it really makes a big difference.

MY car on the other hand, gets really hot inside, even though I have light grey interior. I think my next car will be the Audi A3, the little 4 door sport wagon. I like the idea of something I can fit both dogs in at the same time, but we definitely don't need or want two SUVs. Although I have crammed them both in the back seat of my Audi a few times for vet trips, but it's a tight squeeze.

I'm getting a new car soon.  I have silver now (and did last car too) so i'm ready for a change.  Silver is awful pretty though.   I'm going for black or blue slate (blueish /gray).  Any thoughts?  I went down to the dealership and took some pictures so i can look at the colors every night.  I thought i'd get sick of one and it would help me make a decision.  Not  yet though.

Lani - what are you doing in Nevada?  What did i miss?

candy apple red dodge truck :)

i'm not sure if i will ever own another color besides red or that "gunmetal" gray...

My vehicles, an old Nissan truck and an old Toyota Camry? The first is dark blue, so dark as to almost be black. The second is silver. And yeah, they are OLD, 1989 and 1990. Hey, no payments!

Silver cars vanish into the scenery. People don't see them coming, even with headlights on all the time. (We all drive around with our headlights on all the time up here because it's so much safer.) I'm going to buy some big, brightly colored daisy car magnets and decorate the silver car with them so people can see me coming and not pull out in front on me. It's scary when that happens when I'm driving 50 mph on ice! (And I'm almost the slowest person out there, trust me).

Silver '99 Subaru Impreza for me. :)  Its name is Rover. Big Smile

Mine is a white '96 Chevy 1/2 ton with a V6 Vortec motor. And a camper top. When it's just Shadow and me, he rides up front. When it's DW, Shadow, and me, he rides in back. The topper has a locking flip window on the back, sliding screened windows on the side for ventiliation and I have a locking cap I can put over the tailgate pull handle.

Current car is dark (forest?) green.  Not bad... but my future car (in 40000 years when I have enough disposable income) will be black or dark grey.

Also, I wanted to correct the german in the title.

Was Farbe ist Ihr (formal or plural) Auto?

Was Farbe ist dein (familiar or informal) Auto?
