    • Gold Top Dog
I just saw this (looong work day and chores when I got home). HOW did he do????
    • Gold Top Dog
Alright Jaime, i'm getting impatient, do we get to see him on tv or not?
    • Gold Top Dog
We won't be on TV this time [:(]

The "RETIRED" #1 dog for the past 3 years was entered, He is owned by my friend, I just wish I had known he was being entered as I would have chose another day to go since I was only planning on doing one day this weekend because of the pups.

Dustin took some pictures for your viewing pleasure. The dog who won is behind Markie and I

Will the MD show help?  You'll have extra luck because you'll have idoggers there in person to cheer you on!

Stinks that retired dogs can just unretire!  Is that common?  I know nothing about showing.
    • Gold Top Dog
Jamie how did you and Markie do?
    • Gold Top Dog
Bummer!  That just stinks. Besides I think Markie is WAY more handsome than any of the other dogs!!!
    • Gold Top Dog
Jaime & Markie, you guys are #1 to me!  Too bad the judge didn't agree.  Markie is just soooooo handsome & I'm not saying that cuz he gave me kisses. :o)
    • Gold Top Dog
Aww... Markie, I still love you anyway. Those people need to let that poor retired dog have some rest already. Isn't that the whole point of retirement?
    • Gold Top Dog
    Thanks guys!

Yes, the point of retiring is just that...to retire..LOL!
Bruno has been showing for 7 years, he's done some pretty impressive winning and is a dog I love. I spoke to my friend this am and she said he also got a Group 4 win in the Terrier Group..a win for the breed for sure!

    Stacy,
Markie will be very happy to see you guys this weekend and to cheer him on!
    • Gold Top Dog
I must have posted while I was sleeping or somethng how did that happen lol
Sorry Jamie, was the judge blind?
Give my boy kisses and tell him he is my number 1.

    • Gold Top Dog
    LOL! Debbie!
No she just happens to like that dog  ALOT! Thats OK, I had beaten him twice last year so that went along with some bragging..LOL!

Ok Stacy...are you ready for this?????
Ring time is 8am, ring number 13

Also Dachshunds are in ring 12 starting at 9:15 [:D]
    • Gold Top Dog
Yes, I saw they posted the schedule on infodog and noticed that crazy start time.  Yikes!  Do you leave right after?  I don't know that I can do 8am or 9:15 for that matter but I may try for 9 or 10.  I don't want to sleep in too late because I go back to work Monday after over a week off so I will need to get used to getting up early :)

Last time I went to a show, Katie and I were kinda confused on how it all works because dogs would be out of the ring, then back in, then out, etc.  We couldn't figure out how it all works!  Also, I emailed the president of the kennel club and she said per AKC rules, no unentered dogs are allowed.  However, am I correct to assume they don't follow this strictly since there were tons of unentered dogs at the other show I went to?  Can I get away with bringing Zoe?
    • Gold Top Dog
No, I don't leave right after, especially if I win the breed, then I have to stay for group judging.

I will PM you my cell phone number that way if you can make it later you can call me and we can designate a place to meet.

As far as unentered dogs it all depends. Some shows are more lenient then others,AKC rules do say no unentered dogs but many times people will bring other dogs along and unless they are checking entries at the door you can pretty much just walk in like your there to show. I will probably have two unentered dogs there with me..a Markie daughter and the new frenchie boy Teddy for some socialization
