Wow I bet she doesn't even know what to think having comfort and blankets and pillows and a warm place to sleep.  You are such a good dog owner!  Good luck with getting her better and finding her a loving home.  I'm sorry you had to drive so much to get her.

I'm sooo happy she;s finally in a place that will take great care of her.  I would love to help out in any small way if I can even though I live in SC.  Let me know.  I think your a great person to take on that responsibility and know that Maddison truely appreciates it and will be to great health again real soon.

Madison -- welcome to the good times, girl!!  Puppyhood is often wasted on the young -- YOU are gonna appreciate all of this big time!!

I"m your Aunt Callie (yep, I just promoted myself to Volunteer Family -- it's the BEST family because volunteers don't HAVE to love you -- they choose to love you!!! RAH!!!).  It's all MY fault that you're gonna have baths out the ying yang!!

HOWEVER -- you're also going to have treats with those baths.  And you're going to feel better from those baths.  And you're gonna eat REAL good.

Madison, all Brit wants is for you to try hard and love her back.  And even better times will come, cos when the scratchies finally go away, YOU will feel better!!

My little old gal peke, Kee Shu -- she'd tell you that sometimes the good life comes REAL late ... but when you get there it's real real good.

Good food tastes even better when you know what bad food and no food feel like.
Sleeping inside with no bugs and no rain is wonderful.  And it will get even better after the itchies are gone!
Living where people are nice to you -- it can be tough to believe, but it can be really nice.

Have fun Madison.  LOTS of us love you.  And Brittany's gonna tell you our names and you'll hear these names -- and then you'll know lots of peoples are good to you.  So get better girl!!  Better days are coming!!

Ratsicles this is a terrible situation. My opinion is that you take Maddison home, do what you can for Maddison and actively look for someone that can afford to take her/him to a vet asap. You giving Maddison a good diet, a warm covered shelter, and love is much better than the conditions you described. I'm sure you will feel much worse if you don't take Maddison and try to help her and she dies at your parents house. If Maddison dies in your care at least you tried! Its more than your parents can say and you will be able to sleep at night knowing you gave Maddison your best effort.
I just noticed I missed several posts. Great to hear you have taken Maddison home with you.

    Good luck!!
