when was the last time a dog died from eating a cat turd?
I do find my neighbor's dogs to be extremely annoying - BUT - they are only annoying cause their owner have let them become so.
These little dogs have been allowed to chase people down the street (one being a 92 year old woman), allowed to harrass neighbors (by chasing them when they get out of the cars and have nipped a couple of kids)...and the really sick part is these people will only call their dogs home and GIVE THEM A TREAT!!!! You can hear them "Rosie....want a treat" after they have chased someone!!!!
I am a firm believer that the dog is a product of its environment but I will readily admit I am not at all fond of these 3 yapping little beasts.
I have never met a dog that doesn't enjoy a snack of cat poop - it isn't going to kill any dog. We have issues with the habit viewing it as gross and quite distasteful but imagine what wild dogs eat.
Harming these dogs would be leaving poison outside, hitting one with my car and whenever they chase me I come to a dead stop hoping/waiting they'll get bored and go home (can't see them and when I once confronted the neighbor about his little dogs chasing cars his answer was "they'll learn when they get hit" one did get hit and I can only thank my lucky stars it was someone who doesn't even live in the neighborhood who did it), letting MY GERMAN SHEPHERD get them which is something I would never do.
If their dogs eat a couple of cat turds and go home and give their owners kisses the only harm done is smelly ichey breath with some turd stuck in their teeth - better still if they bring the turd into the house to eat so their owners have to pick it up.
These dogs are allowed (and encouraged to crap in my yard) - I don't know if they are vetted...that in itself could be more harmful to my dog!!!
