Have you tried an chiropractor vet?  I know of serveral dogs the local guy has helped.

I second the chiropractics and would add try acupuncture.  If it's easily fixed you may be able to at least finish her.  Being active dogs (mine weight pulll, dog sled, backpack, do agility for fun, plus tear around the yard playing body-slam tag) I have discovered how much they need to be treated like human athletes and get a little more than the typical vet care.  Mine only go to the chiro a few times a year, one of mine was throwing a rear leg to the side and come to find out her pelvis was twisted but being stoic we didn't ever see a real limp.  He adjusted her, we came back weekly for a couple weeks, and then she was fine.  The acupuncture is sometimes good for active dogs who short-stride, the muscles just need relaxing.  Just a thought.
