Crate vs. no crate while home alone?

• glenmar Posted : 4/11/2006 7:07:51 AM LOL Callie.  Tyler, now that he is feeling well, has turned into quite the stinker!  I came upstairs yesterday and discovered that he'd decided to sample the asparagus that I'd left on the diningroom table AND the turnips that were laying there waiting for me to use them for pasties.  Came back up a SECOND time and he'd dragged out the 10 lb bag of potatoes AND the flour canister.  Luckily the taters were getting used in the pasties also, so I didn't have any wasted....just a bit thicker peeling.......but THIS is the pup who wouldn't take a TOY out of the basket when he came back! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Was thinking something totally not food related aswell.......lol[8D] We had previously always crated Sasha when we first brought her home. We tried just leaving her loose in her room and she decided she didn't like that and  tried to rip the wall down. We now let her have free roam of the house, for some reason aslong as she is not closed behind any doors she is not destructive at all. Just doesn't like being confined to one room I guess but she does fine in the crate so don't know....lol. Jake is always crated when both of us are gone and at night.
