There's something about having "Lou" with a cat's name, isn't there? Lately, I call out, "Miss Lou!" when I want Trixie's attention, not her actual name. Oh, but she knows who she is ... ... my little Trixie Lou.

Yep, Kristy will come to any portion of her name or to just Lou. I think the Lou thing started because of my mom. She calls any animal "bobalu"--not sure why. So I shortened it and just started calling her Lou and it stuck. For the longest time DH actually thought her name was Kristy Lou.

My parents have a tradition of naming our Elkhounds "Viking" names. So they had Viking Rocker the Invincible (Rockit or Rocky) and they now have Viking Gypsy Moon Princess (Gypsy) and Viking Roxy Bear the Cool (Roxy).

I never registered Loki, but if I would have, he would be Viking Loki the Wonder Dog. But neither Loki or Odin has a middle name.

Kristy the cat is Kristy Ann. But we actually lengthen her name and call her Kristen Lou or Lou kitty.

Wow, you said it there...my first cat was Milou (Meee-looooo) and what a cat he was....sigh.

Since her registered name is Rangler's Burlesque Queen, I owuld guess that her middle name is Burlesque! We often call her Gypsy Doodle or Doodle Dog.

LOL, my Mom's (somewhere along the line he stopped being my cat..how'd that happen?? I was 9 when we got him, and we only kept him after rescuing him from a tree because I was DYING for a cat) cat's name IS Lou! Lucifer, actually, but we usually call him Lou.

Cherokee doesn't have a middle name, but I often call her Wigglebutt, so maybe we'll make that her official middle name. [

(these are the 2 who are living with my mom now).

Frank Monster---- this is the cat who was abandoned at my old apartment. I brought him with me when I moved here.. first he lived in my bathroom (he hates all of us and prefers to be alone). Then he went to the basement.. now he's outside and I have NO idea how! I see no possible way he got out.. but he's outside and comes to the deck to be fed.

I know it's silly, but does your dog have a middle name?
