Tribute to a Gallant Girl - Dancer's Story

It took me so long to write to you, Anne, because it took me several tries to finish your beautiful story of Dancer. Life is different now, I know. But she walks beside you, I'm sure. And what she gave you can never be taken away. Hugs to you.

    Thanks, everyone.
Those of you who want to see photos, most of the ones I have are the oldfashioned kind, and I can't upload them.  But, if you go to www.dogaddicts.com and search for my posts, she is my avatar over there. (And will remain my avatar permanently there)

    What a beautiful girl.

I only hope to be as good a mom to Romeo.  Sometimes, when I lay down on the floor next to him, or we are in the bed and just stare at one another, this overwhelming feeling comes over me and think:  wow he chose me, me. I sometimes wonder what did he see in me that made him go "yep she is a keeper."
;pray I never let him down.

He may not be the most beautiful dog in the world, or have a very impressive pedigree, he is 100 % mutt, but to me he is perfect, poetry in motion, a beautiful song.  My love.
