I love looking at your work.[sm=wink2.gif]  If you run out of subjects to paint I know of two that are willing to be used hint hint

*sigh* I wish I could paint like that. You're so talented. I've got a portrait to do this weekend of a black lab/Chow mix and a sheltie mix (a double) for a 65th birthday gift. I hope I do as good a job on the black dog as you have on this one.

Here's a little Italian Greyhound I did last weekend. He finished his Championship at the Topeka show and the owner came right to my booth and asked me to do a Champion portrait. Are you ready for Christmas Emily? Portrait artists get swamped at Christmas. Last year, I made a lot of money and didn't have time to spend it. [sm=lol.gif]

I'm sending good vibes to you, Emily.  Although I think any judge would have to be blind to not give you first place.

It's beautiful.  I'm envious of your talent!

Thank you all for your wonderful words of encouragment and support. You cannot know how much it means to me.  Today I helped out in receiving peoples work into the show. It was chaotic, but so great to see others work and chat with them.  AND the buildings facility manager brought her 3 month old chihuahua!  SOO freaking CUTE!  So really, I was in heaven: Puppies and art!

Debbie, your work is so wonderful and you provide such a great service to the dog loving public. All your work is so special and I'm sure brightens everyone's day when they open the package to see thier beloved pooch! I'm not sure I'm ready for christmas. I might have to do all my christmas shopping this month just in case. Otherwise my husband will end up doing it and who KNOWS what people would be getting[sm=biggrin.gif] Things seem under control now though....

The thing I'm most proud about is that I matted and framed these two pieces last night without doing bodily harm to myself. One of my very good friends got married yesterday on Block Island.  We traveled 2 hours to the ferry.  Spent all day there. I drank too many YUMMY mojitos!!! Took the ferry 2 hours back. Picked up thier dog(whom Scout is in love with).  Brought him back and the chaotic wrestling ensued. Did I mention thier dog is 100 lb rotteweiler mix! Here are some pics of the artwork matted and framed:

What a relief that I got it finished!!! Thanks again everyone!

Kate, that is the dog from the dogpark.  The one named Fred. He was beyond adorable and I had so much fun painting from that picture I took!

Soooo cute!!!  ever do Huskies? hint hint

Oh and I do not discriminate against any breed. I love them all and paint them all[:D](or if I haven't painted one then I'm sure I will in the future!!!!)

Oh Em!!!  Breathtaking - really!!  I just love, love, love your style - everything you do has your own individual fingerprint on it.  LOVE IT!  You absolutely must win...
