    What breed?

    Cute isn't she? [:)]

From the SPCA, 4yrs old. They say German Sherperd cross, which I can see. But the colours don't match up, so I was wondering what breed she could be mixed with..

Going to call about her tomorrow, maybe this time she'll be in unlike the cute deaf great dane. If she's in I'll go over and see her.

    GSD and...husky, maybe?
I can't see that pic real well since I don't have my glasses on. I see GSD, definitely, and from what I can see, it looks like husky markings. But that would make her awfully short haired for a combo of those two.

I agree with chewbacca's guess.  I love her ears...she is precious!

She is beautiful and I also see a GSD/Husky mix.

I honestly don't see a whole lot of husky at all there...how could a Shepherd/Husky cross have floppy ears when both parent breeds are prick eared?  I vote that there's something else in there, maybe Lab judging from the blockiness of the muzzle.

Have you considered maybe a white GSD?  Looks almost like my childhood GSD who was a mix of two pure breed white and German GSDs.

I see alot of similar qualities in both my dog and the one your looking at.  Course my baby is only 14 (almost) weeks old, so much younger.  But the ears, colors and shape are very similar................the size is the big difference.[:)]
And they say Dixie might have GSD, Husky and possible Chi in her...........hummmmmm  That dog looks bigger than Dixie might get but then again you never know for sure with a mixed breed.[;)]

Whatever that doll is shes beautiful.[:D]  Did you ever go and see her?

Just wanted to see them side by side............

Ok Dixie is slightly darker in color, but the above picture was at 7 weeks old.  And now that I see them side by side the shape of the head is different, BUT the coloring pattern is similar as are the ears..........
Who knows............lol............shes adorable though.  Let us know how it goes when and if you meet her.

I wanted to bump this back up because I took a more recent picture of Dixie.  That picture before was at 7 weeks and this one is at 14 weeks.........the black is getting lighter on her forhead.

So over more time she may get even lighter and then the coloring would be more
    alike.

Because I was thinking she was just a puppy and must've missed the whole "4 years old" part.
A lot of GSDs' ears don't stand up when they're young.
My brother has a black GSD whose ears are still not standing completely up all the way and she's just 2 years old.
I suppose she probably has something else in her. But I'm sticking by husky and gsd in the mix somewhere.
