OH HAPPY DAY!

Some of you know from the Rainbow Bridge section that I'm still dealing day to day with the loss of my girl, FeFe. When we were told about her illness and what eventually would happen, I began taking oodles of photos of her doing anything from sitting, sleeping, eating, bathing, rolling in poo... lol You name it, I probably have a pic of it. This time around.... I made copies of the copies of those photos, just in case.

Last spring, my computer crashed and I didn't save all the photos that dated back to 2000 (still kicking myself over this). We sent the hard drive off HOPING for just a few photos to be saved and nothing came of it. I was heartbroken... knowing those photos were lost... it was horrible. BUT here's the 'oh happy day' part.... I decided to look thru old cds this morning. I found one that said "Pictures 2000-2002". I've found some cds like that before with absolutely NOTHING on it... so I didn't have my hopes up.... I put the cd in the computer and what pops up??? ALL THOSE OLD PHOTOS I THOUGHT I'D LOST FOREVER!!! YAY!! Tears of joy!! I'm attaching a few photos... I even found some of Gracie when she was just a teenie tiny puppy! Just had to share it with you guys... I've already called almost everyone I know! [sm=clapping%20hands%20smiley.gif]

That is so wonderful! Pictures are great ways to remember them. I love her hair-do in the second picture.

Thank you! She'd let me do anything with her ears, make them into pigtails or pulling them up on her head like one big ponytail. She loved clothes and she even liked diaper time (when she was in heat). I was so sick thinking I had lost all of those photos. I'm on cloud 9 today!

Oh that's great news, I am so happy you found them. That should teach all of us a very valuable lesson, I am coping mine today.

That is great news! Photographs are SO important.

The picture of her in the water is killing me. What a cutie she was!

haha... sassafras - that's cute! She was the sassiest girl, especially when she had a hairdo or clothes on. She'd walk around growling (like she was talking to us) and just like your little baby in your avator, she'd stick her tongue out at us [

]. She knew she was 'the show'.

Wow, I can just imagine how excited you must be. I know I'd be bouncing off the walls if I found lost pictures.
