I always wanted to ask this: Why Basenjis?

Yeah, well, I ask myself that too sometimes. [&:]

They were the right size for me, short hair, neat, clean little elegant package and unusual. Whimsical, naughty, playful and a sense of humor that doesn't always match mine. I like the relationship I have with a dog that has its own agenda. I like that my basenjis look at me like an equal (or household help, depending); most dogs look up to their owners. I also enjoy trying to keep up with them. They are so quick to learn the bad things! I also like the primative-ness of them. God created a dog in Africa and the basenji is the dog.

I'd never heard of Xerxes until my boyfriend started working on the movie adaption of "300". He tells all his subjects that he's a god! [

] Now Xerxes seems to be everywhere I look.

Awww... I've been pronouncing it wrong this whole time![:@]
My guess was something like Zer-rex-zess

Anyway, she is really a beauty. At you going to show her? I don't know much about your breed but I find them so unique. Just love thoes ears and that smile... Also that sleek shine in their eyes.
