    New Talus Update.....

First the good news, Talus is home!!!!!!!
We brought him home tonight around 8 pm....
He's been non-stop since he got back...he's ;pacing around from room to room making sure he's really home...
He ate a chicken salad dinner and had lots of fresh water....
I have to be at work at 6am and I honestly don't think he'll sleep tonight....yeah, my boy is home and snuggling with me...

Now, the results of all his tests today...
Simply put, it's not cancer, it's not heart problems, it's ideopathic...
which means they don't know what caused it...
For the next week we have to watch him like a hawk....we have to watch his breathing and check to see if his fluids are building up in his chest again....If they are, we have to have them drained and then we decide about surgery....he's on homeopathic medicine, Rutin, which works for cats who have chylothorax....
this might help him heal on his own without surgery...we just have to wait and see....

Now, for all of you.....I honestly don't think I would have made it through the last 4 days without you....
You have kept me sane, and strong and hopeful...
The night we lit candles the vet said was his best night in the hospital...I read him all of your messages, and it made him better....
I want to especially thank you for your private messages and your thoughts and prayers....
    You are all special people....
and I am grateful and humbled to call you my friends....
Hugs and Super Wet Squishes from Talus....
I'll post some pictures of him soon....
    Love all of you,

Maria and Timothy and the little guy....

Maria - I'm so glad to hear that he's home and doing well, a wait and see at home is much easier than worrying when you can't constantly look at him!

So we can exhale now??  Honestly, I really do feel incredible relief!  I can't imagine how you are feeling!!!

Well, I know a diagnosis of idiopathic anything is not very settling, but you seem to have ruled out some really difficult and frightening possibilities and that is wonderful.

And Talus is home and eating and snuggling and that is truly wonderful.

Pofi says, "Yo dude!  Awesome that you're home!" And Mia sends a smooch from one redhead to another!

Oh, I'm so glad!!  I was wondering all day if I'd see an update on him.  I did light my candle the other night and I told my DH all about him awhile back so he knew what was going on and why we lit the candle. When I told him that it was a holiday and you had to wait for the doctor, he mentioned how these things alway seem to happen when there is no doctor available, on a holiday or weekend or something.

Hopefully, Talus respond to this medicine and surgery won't be needed.  We'll keep praying for him.

Willow sends her purple kisses to all of you.
