So a brief synopsis of my horse career to get you an idea of why I do what I do...I've been riding and showing hunters and jumpers since I was 6, had two horses (one a hunter, and one a jumper) in high school (seems to be lightyears ago), and have been competing on my college equestrian team as a grad student currently.
Anyways, I recently purchased a 5yo 17.2 h black TB gelding (barn name: Forrest, show name: Pacino), and took him to his first 'A' rated show ever. Not only did he win his first two flat classes, but we actually got around the course and got all of our lead changes! So some trainer came up to me and asked if he was for sale (said no, of course) and he offered me $50K [8|][8|] (obviously a whole lot more than I paid) but I declined (even though my college loans were spinning through my head)[sm=banghead002.gif] I am just so excited I felt the need to blurt it out! So proud of my little man!
